In a moment of sheer foolishness, I uttered a name that should have never left my throat or tongue.

He stands as the pillar of Udaipur's esteem, and I—oh, what have I done? My lips betrayed me, calling him 'Ansh' in a lapse of unconsciousness.

I am insane !!!

Never before had I dared to address him so informally, i even never called him reyansh, after growing up a bit, i always called him hukum sa.

This name 'ansh' gave me weird chills internally and now, this slip of the tongue looms over me like an ominous cloud.

As I stood there, ensnared in the tornado of my own thoughts, he reached out and gently shook me from my reverie.

His voice, tinged with an unexpected warmth, broke through the silence. "Could you please repeat that?" he asked, his eyes holding a glint of something close to enchantment. It was as if the world around us had stilled, waiting for my next breath, my next word.

"I am sorry" that's all that i could utter.

"Repeat" he said. Oh god does he want to hear me say sorry again. Ahhh!

Fine!

"I am sorry hukum sa" i repeated while stretching each word and syllable more than necessary.

"No not that, repeat the name with which you addressed me" he demanded.

Is he pissed off but his eyes are saying a different story , what should i comprehend from this?

"I am sorry hukum sa i...i... shouldn't have said that, i....i....i'll be much careful next ........." As I stumbled over my words, attempting to mend the blunder I had just made, he acted with a smooth motion that belied his swift movements.

His hands found my waist, pulling me into his orbit voluntarily , our proximity erasing the distance between our breaths, they were mingling together. In the depths of his eyes, a spark of something undecipherable danced—a mystery, a dare, a question.
