The room enveloped me, its walls echoing the anticipation that thrummed through my veins. Each second stretched into eternity, and I wondered if my heartbeat could keep pace with the ticking clock. The air held a charged stillness, as though it, too, awaited for his arrival.

And then, like a whispered promise fulfilled, the gates groaned open. His car glided across the courtyard, its engine purring with a confidence.

"Plan successful, yes!" I exulted silently, my inner voice dancing inside me. The pieces had fallen into place, the intricate threads of my design weaving seamlessly.

He had tried to play the game, to toy with my emotions, but now the tables were turned. The hunter had become the hunted.

I settled onto the bed, its sheets crisp and cool against my skin. My face, a mask of stoicity, betrayed nothing of the tempest raging within.

Stoicism had been my armor since morning, he should have spoken to me atleast once, But now, he would reckon with the consequences of his silence.

His footsteps echoed down the corridor, drawing closer. The door swung open, revealing him-dark eyes, unruly hair, and a mouth that could wield both cruelty and tenderness.

Our gazes collided, and in that charged moment, I vowed to make him feel every heartbeat he had ignored.

"What the hell," he said, his voice a velvet blade.

No, we hadn't. But now, as the room held its breath, I knew this encounter would etch itself into our shared history. He had tried to mess with me, but he would soon discover that I was no pawn in his game.

At least once, he would have to talk to me-to unravel the mysterious aura he had unwittingly created around him.

The game had begun, and the stakes were higher than either of us could fathom. But one thing was certain: i would no longer allow him to ignore the woman in front of him anymore.

"When will you stop, say that, or i need a reason for this behaviour of yours" i said with all the confidence that i mustered while waiting for him before.
