Peculiar? What an interesting word...

A/n:

Hiya! I'm Ash (he/him) and this is Our Peculiar Ways! This is a story i've had non-stop ideas for, for months now and yet never thought I'd be able to write it. Yet here I am! Writing this story for us! I'm gonna try my best as this kinda story isn't necessarily my strong point (but doesn't mean I can't do it!) I believe in myself! Anyway! On with the introduction!!

Here is a few points I need to make clear:

- This story is very (very) vaguely inspired by the book and movie 'Miss Perigrine's Home For Peculiar Children' and by vague I mean I literally saw a SKZ fanart on it and got tons of ideas for this story. The only thing that's similar is the word 'Peculiar' pretty much. (I haven't watched nor read the movie or book btw)

- This story contains shipping. The ships will be: Chanlix, Hyunsung, Minbin and Seungin. (If you don't know, it's Chan x Felix, Hyunjin x Han, Lee Know x Changbin, Seungmin x I.N)

- TW: This story contains gayness (for yall homophobes that scared easily)  (but if you are homophobic/transphobic gtfo)

- ACTUAL TW: I don't think I am too descriptive when it comes to difficult (emotionally intense) parts or when it comes to any form of gore (I hate it myself so dw) but in case I am I'll try to remember to put a warning before those parts.

- This story is written set in present day (aka 2024 for those peeps from the future) and is an AU but they are still as Stray Kids, the kpop band in the story. Apart from that detail, it's completely fictional (because unfortunately Hyunjin doesn't shoot flames from his fingertips irl)

- Supernatural and magical shit for yall

-I made most of SKZ British (like me cos it's easier)

-I modified Seungmin and Jeongin's english names to fit the vibe

-They are known as The Peculiars (just so you don't get confused on who tf The Peculiars are)

- This is gonna be something. Yeah, something. ... good luck ig
