Arius's eyes slowly pried open , his chest was heaving slowly . He squinted his eyes trying to get a clear image of the people at his door , his head hurt terribly even when he tried to move a little bit. When his vision slowly cleared Arius couldn't help but wonder if he had actually passed on already.

' why the hell are they here '

Arius frowned slightly but couldn't think more as one after another headaches penetrated his head. Just as his vision started to black out again,  Arius saw someone reach out to him but his eyes landed on a face that was well too familiar to him. Arius was now sure that he was already at the gates of death.

Arius groggily say up , as light filled his view he squinted his eyes . Slowly he rubbed his eyes and looked around noticing the stark white surrounding .

' it doesn't hurt now '

Arius placed his palm upon his chest and sighed out in relief . Before Arius could wonder about his whereabouts someone picked him up and wrapped their arms around him firmly.

' wha-'

Needless to say Arius was truly baffled , he expected to be met with eternal fire of hell but he never expected to be met with a rib crushing hug as soon as he passed on . Passed on ? Arius now wondered if he was actually dead.

Arius tried to take a look at the person holding him , he could tell it was a woman but he didn't know who. Arius felt the air inside his lungs get squeezed out as the hug got tighter. When the lady finally calmed down , she let go of the hug and placed Arius down on the ground.

Arius curiously stared up at the person who just hugged him , his eyes twinkled at the realization that it was his mother.

" Mo-"

Before Arius could finally call out to his mother , he was hugged again . Diana gently cupped his face and showered him with little kisses all over his cheeks and forehead. 

'' my baby , oh . . .. my baby "

Diana's sweet voice cracked like a dry leaf , tears streaked down her cheeks but she didn't halt from showing love to Arius who deserved it more than he knew. Arius felt his mother's tears wet his cheeks and he couldn't help but feel a need to sob himself.

Arius tried to speak and call out to his
mother but it felt like a cork was placed on his throat , he couldn't speak even if he wanted to . His mother was right infront of him but it was a shame that he couldn't even call her mother .

" My sweet child . . .I'm sorry . . . . ."

Diana hugged Arius again , her tears wet his shoulders but Arius didn't mind it even a little bit because he was about to turn into sobbing wreck himself.

One by one countless tears fell down from Diana's eyes , when she had left the world entrusting her children to the man she loved she never expected them to go through such painful experiences.
