Sometimes, circumstances can change
our whole life. Everyone wonders, 'Why is it just him or her?' But, whatever itis,
it’s your destiny. Sometimes even if it's
not your fault you might suffer, if it is in your destiny... Sometimes if even you are rude, everyone will love you... if it is
in your destiny.

When you do something, you don’t think for a second what impact will it have on the future? You don’t think for a second that it might hurt others? Does looks really matter? Is it necessary
for the whole world to know a small matter, that even might be personal?’

Emily and Anna were great friends
from childhood. They both lived in
California, and their dream was to study computer science abroad.

Anna aspired to be a great scientist,
following in the footsteps of Anna's
mother. Emily was a multi-talented girl
with many dreams, she wanted to focus on science but also pursue her passion
for art, singing, fashion designing, and
cooking. They both were really talented and intelligent, they would do anything to succeed in their dreams.

Emily had a joint family with her
mother, father, grandmother, uncle,
aunt, and cousin sister. Emily's cousin
sister was younger than Emily and
considered herself the best sister of
Emily, willing to do anything for her.

Anna's family was different – a small
family with only Anna, Anna's father,
and brother. Her brother was younger
than her, Anna's mother passed away
when Anna was just four. Every time
Anna asked her father about thereason
for her mother's death, he mentioned a
disease but never explained in detail
what disease it was or how ithappened.

In Anna's room, there was a locker with a note saying,
‘Open on your 21st birthday and
                read what's inside.’
Anna was really curious about what
was in that locker. Her father told her it was a given by her mom, so Anna could never disobey it. Whenever Anna talked about her life with her father, like what she would do when she's 30 or 33, her
father would smile sadly and say,
‘Yes dear, you will, if your destiny
wants...’
Anna sometimes felt something was
wrong but eventually believed that her
mother died at a young age (31), so
anyone could be.

When Anna told her father that she
wanted to go abroad to study with
Emily, her father hesitated and said,
‘But what's the need? Stay with us
dear.’
But he eventually agreed after
convincing, making her promise she
would come home regularly after everyone or two months.

Emily's family agreed in just one talk,
but Emily's cousin sister cried a lot.

Right now, Emily and Anna were both
19 years old, it was time for Emily and
Anna to say goodbye to their families as they headed to England to pursue their
dreams.
