You were in the living room of the apartment that you and your guy best friend shared.

You were watching television watching cartoon when he walked out and blocked your view of the television.

"Austin! " you yelled at him
"Why aren't you dressed? " he asked

"Dressed for what?" You said trying to look past him at the tv.

"We're going shoe shopping remember. Daddy needs an new pair of sneaks." He said

"Uggh" you groaned as you got up "shoe shopping really? You're more of a girl than me sometimes."

"Just hurry up. I bet you haven't even showed yet." He said

"I would've but its just so much effort" you complained as you trudged up the stairs

Austin's POV
I laughed because her laziness was always adorable and entertaining.

Half an hour later,she walked down the stairs in a red off the shoulder mini dress, black ripped jeans and Converse sneakers. He hair was in her signature curly afro.

After staring for a while she snapped her fingers in front of my face.

"Hello earth to Austin. Wow. Do I look that good?... and I was considering wearing shorts." She teased

I shook it off and we walked out. She took a small purse and i just grabbed my wallet and the car keys.

At the mall

We went into a shoe shop and both tried on shoes. I offered to buy her a pair of very high and interesting high heels which she refused.

"I don't want them to write 'death by crazy shoes' on my death certificate" she joked. I laughed  a lot louder than i should have and she looked at me funny. She had a smirk on her face

She and I both picked five pairs of shoes. She eventually picked two pairs of heels and by picked I mean nodded when I pointed them.

We were finally home and Y/N followed me to my room for no apparent reason.

"You're actually good at buying for women. Your future girlfriend will be very lucky." She said

"Actually that's probably not true." I sulked

"Why not?"

"Cos the girl I want doesn't feel the same way"

"Dont worry, you'll get over it." She said bluntly before popping a piece of gum into her mouth and offering me a piece

I grabbed the piece and unwrapped it viciously.

"Are you serious right now?" I pooped the gum in my mouttb

"What?"

"I was hoping you'd say something like, I'm sure she'll come around at some point."

"I'm just being honest. I mean there is a guy I like that doesn't like me back but I'm just letting it go rather than forcing it."

"What guy? You never told me about a guy."

"You never told me about your girl" she countered

"Fine one three we'll say who these people are." I suggested

"I dont--"

I cut her off and started counting

"1... 2... 3"

"You" we said simultaneously. We both stood there in shock.

"You're messing with me right?" She said.

I honestly couldn't think the next thing I knew I was crashing my lips on hers.

"You know I saw a road sign a few minutes ago. I should have paid attention." She said. I laughed at the random sentence

"What did it say?" I asked still holding her waist and he arms still around my neck

"It said leaving frendzone" she gestured in the air.

"I saw that sign year ago" I said "I just never took the turn."
She laughed and we kissed again.
