Ambush

Jason POV

I don't even know how I'm even supposed to get the packet. I'm just a guard. Maybe I can ask Mike to help me but he is too loyal to the gang.

Besides what is in that packet anyway?

I know where the crew hides out from the police. It's a warehouse in the woods. They made a big whole at the bottom of the warehouse to hide if the police ever did find them they could just hide there.

Los Destinos are not as powerful as El Chueco that's why the police don't try to even be in the radar of El Chueco's.

I park my car at a distance and walked to the warehouse.

One last thing no one has seen the boss. I mean yeah some have but they are dead because they either betrayed him or they were too weak for the gang. There is only one that actually has seen him and she isn't dead.

Her name is Jess. She has been loyal to him for about two years or so. I can probably make her help me and tell me where they keep that packet.

I walk in and see the guys preparing the guns which I don't know why. I haven't heard of any fights or anything.

"Aye Mike what's up?" I greet Mike once I spot him

"Jason my man! What's good?" He greets back

"Nothing. What's going on?" I ask

"We are going to attack El Chueco tonight" he smirks

"Wait you're serious?"

"Yes" he says getting a gun

"Where is Jess?" I ask

"What for?" He asks

"I have some important information she might want to tell the boss" I say

"She's in the in the Hole" he says. That's what we call the hide out.

"Thanks man" I says slightly punching him on the shoulder.

I go in and see more guys in there I look for Jess and I see her practicing her shooting.

"Hey Jess" I call out and I get her attention.

"Hey yourself" she says getting her attention back to shooting

"I heard that we were going to attack El Chueco tonight" I say

"Yeah" she says not looking at me

"I can help with that" this is my only chance of actually helping Alyson and to finally get my revenge.

"You're helping by just staying back"

"I can help you ambush him" I say then she turned and looked at me

"How?" She asks

"He has my friend kidnapped and he asked me to bring him a packet that we took and he is meeting me where we took the packet" I explain

"And?"

"And you can give me the packet to 'give' it to him and then you can attack him and I can help my friend" I say quoting the word give

"Hmm" she thinks

"So?"

"Let me talk to the boss about this" she says laying down the gun and leaving.

A while later she came back with a smile on her face. It's the first time I see her smile in real life.

"So?" I ask

"I guess we will need your help" she says

"Great"

"But first you have to tell us when and where you are going to meet him" she says

"It's at the abandoned building from last time and I can tell him to meet me at 8" I says

"Just so you know there is a traitor around so be careful with who you trust" she says

"Have you identified who?" I ask

"No we don't want to make it obvious that we know"

"Oh okay thanks" I say before leaving

I go back up and look around me. Now that Jess told about a traitor I have to be careful because then this won't work and I won't be able to save Alyson.

"Jason!" A voice says behind me. I turn around and Mike is there.

"Oh hey" I say

"So what happened with Jess. What'd you tell her?" he asks. I want to tell him but I can't even trust him. Why would it be him anyway? I can trust him he has been there for me ever since I turned in a Destino.

"We are gonna ambush El Chueco" I say

"How?" He asks

"I had to get a packet for him and I'm going to act like I am going to give it to him and then that is where we are going to ambush them" I explain. It felt good to let it out.

"Hmm" he says

"What?" I ask

"Nothing" he says and then just leaves.

That was weird, he didn't even ask me questions like, why me? Or when? Or I don't know something. What if..? No it can't be him I'm being delusional.
