As Liv breathes in and out deeply, trying to concentrate, Katelynn continues to groan, moan and pester her about Ben and why he isn't the one here with her. This was her first birthing class, she had asked Kate to accompany her since she needed a partner. She knew Kate would be more than willing to be there but she didn't know Kate would be bothering her, or more like scolding her about not telling Ben about the classes. 'What's so bad about not telling Ben? It's not like he absolutely has to be here.' Liv thought to herself.

"Liv, he should be here." Kate whispered as she held Liv's hand for support. "Not me."

Liv ignored her again. She already told Kate multiple times that it wasn't a big deal but Kate just didn't seem to agree with her. Since Ben had found out that it was his baby, Ben had visited Liv everyday bringing food and things to keep her occupied and busy while she was on bedrest. It was weird for Liv. She wasn't use to anyone being so attentive to her during the pregnancy. Well... except for Kate. All this attention was a little overwhelming. Ben had been texting and calling her everyday too.

Speaking of Ben texting...

Liv's phone vibrated twice indicating she had received a new text. She fetched her phone from her jacket pocket and sure enough it was Ben. His second text of the day.

'What are you two up to today?' he texted. Two, referring to her and their baby. Liv's heart fluttered... just a little bit. She had no idea why that little text made her feel like that. But whenever he asked about not only her but their baby too, she felt something that she couldn't explain. But the feeling was good.

Kate looked over at the text and scolded Liv, "See! That's a sign. He needs to be here, Liv."

Liv sighed. She knew that she probably should have told him, but for some reason she didn't want to ask him. She didn't want him to feel obligated. She didn't want to smother him and make him feel pressured to do anything. Because what if he felt like everything was too much? What if he felt like it was a lot to handle? Then he might just back out at the last minute. Now that he knew about their baby, he had been extremely helpful and she didn't want that to change at all. She wanted him to stick around despite her fear of him running away. Now that she knew what it felt like to have him around, she couldn't bear the thought of him not being there.

Liv began to text him back and Kate reminded her, "Don't you dare lie to him, Liv."

Liv rolled her eyes, "I'm not. God, Kate, I'm going to tell him the truth."

Kate sighed in relief and a small smile made its way on her lips, "Good."

Liv took a deep breath, 'We're at our first birthing class.' she sent the text and not a minute later he replied

'What?! Why didn't you tell me???'

'I completely forgot. I'm sorry.' she lied

'Are you still in class?'

'Yeah, but we're about to finish.'

'Okay. We need to talk. Let's meet up after your class?'

'Okay, let's meet at LA Cafe in 30?'

'Okay, see you then'

When the class was over, she asked Kate to drop her off at LA Cafe just a few blocks away from where her birthing class was. She knew she was going to get an earful from Ben about not telling him about the class. She thought she would have enough time to prepare herself for him but nope, he was already waiting at outside the cafe leaning casually against the wall near the entrance. The walk over to where he was standing was spent taking in his handsome manly appearance. She could never get use to the way he looked in a suit. He looked so grown up and mature. He was wearing a black suit tailored perfectly to fit his lean muscular build, with a white button down shirt and a thin black tie. 'God, he's so handsome' she thought to herself.
