Falling Twice

Chapter 9

I am now sitting in our café surrounded by everyone. We decided to meet so that we could plan our Christmas and an escape would be perfect for me right now.

"Noah is your farmhouse repaired? We could totally use it this winters "Tasha asked

"Oh hell yeah, I forgot that, that existed. I think it's perfect. What say guys?"

"I'm up for it" Jase agreed

"Mhmm" Liam agreed too.

"I think I don't mind either and Zoe wouldn't too" Lee said

"Well that's it then, also Zoe why don't you call that new friend of yours too" Jase said winking at me

I didn't know how to react to it. Like am I supposed to agree or disagree with Jase. I have no clue

"Yes Zoe, you should totally ask him" Lee said nudging me with her elbow. Bitch.

"I'll ask him later this evening and will let you guys know accordingly" I said

"Looks like fate is in Zoe's favor today" Tasha said with her eyes drawing towards the entrance of the café. Holy Cow it was Levi who walked in his eyes scanning the place for a vacant seat and meeting mine in the process.

What am I supposed to o? Smile? Say hello? Wave? Laugh? Disappear!

He smiled and slowly made his way towards our table and stopped right next to me, still smiling.

"Zoe what the fuck are you doing speak up you goat ask him to join us for fucks sake" Lee whispered

"Oh, Hey Levi join us" I said in an extremely awful manner

"You suck at it girl" Tasha said loud enough to reach everyone's ear.

Everyone chuckled.

"Well since she wouldn't talk I would like to put some light on you by letting you know that she was just talking about you" Jase spoke.

Such a jerk.

"Is it?" Levi said with half amusement and half humor.

"Don't make it look like something else Jase. Since you've filled him with half information why not do the honors to let him know the entire thing?" I spoke

"Oh shut up guys. Levi, Noah. We were planning to visit my farmhouse in the outskirts of the city for this Christmas. We were wondering if you would fancy joining us." Noah finally said something sensible

"Oh, this sounds fun. I don't mind if Zoe's doesn't" Levi said with that innocent smile on his face flashing his white teeth.

I mean who could even mind if someone has such a beautiful smile

"Oh, Thank you Zoe" Levi said flustered

"I did it again didn't I?" I said looking at Levi or Lee. I don't know who I was looking at

"Yes" Said Lee and Levi in unison

"You will really get yourself into trouble if you kept speaking your thoughts out loud Zoe" Lee added and chuckled.

"Okay guys now let's quit discussing me and talk about what time we leaving" I said

"Tomorrow evening, around 4" Cool guys? Noah said

"I'm in" I said and everyone nodded in agreement

"Cool then I'll get my car and Liam you take yours." Jase said and Liam agreed.

"Perfect then let's meet at college then" Tasha said, everyone nodded

All of us had our food in silence. Peaceful silence
