They woke up together after several hours of just laying in bed wallowing in their mistakes and sorrow. Archer was still struggling to grasp the concept of being a horrible mate in the past and present and Irene was slowly accepting the fact that fate was playing a cruel game. She had forgiven Archer on everything he has done, but what Archer was failing to do was forgive himself. Venus knew everything that was happening, he remembered a couple of things before Archer did as he sat inside his mind, telling him he did not do anything wrong and try to re correct everything.

But, there was something in his chest that held him back from forgiving his past self from everything, he wanted to know everything. He wanted to remember everything. But, he couldn't and that was what frustrated him the most. So instead of wallowing in self pity, he held Irene close and accepted the bond that flowed through him much more freely than before. On multiple occasions, he lightly graze over the fully healed mark he had given Irene from the start, every time he did so, she'd shiver in slight pleasure which would make Archer feel a little better. By the time the next day came, they were still spent, no amount of sleep would erase how tired they emotionally felt and as they got ready to go out, they decided it was best to just roam around Bali.

They didn't go too far as Legian Beach Hotel was just surrounded with restaurants and a long stretch of the beach. They tried to forget their worries and past and held each other's hands, being slightly cautious that they were still emotionally unstable. But, they made the best of everything that they did. Archer couldn't help but love the smile that planted on her face every time they did something, the genuine smile made his toes curl and all he wanted to do was kiss her face until he couldn't anymore. But, he held himself back, knowing that it was a little too soon to be going into intimacy. However, Venus was on edge of the whole day, but Archer did not understand why, he only growled when Irene was too far away from them and when he smelt something was off. Archer didn't understand what he was talking about and stayed by Irene's side the whole time.

They had lunch in a restaurant not to far from their hotel. The Ocean Terrace Cafe offered a beautiful view of the beach and fine dining. Irene couldn't help but wish they did this earlier since the week had practically flew past them and there was only three weeks to go before they were due to come back home.

"You look beautiful today," Archer said honestly as he stared into her blue eyes. He noticed how she had a faint smile and a blush against her cheeks, it made him warm inside.

"You said that three times today," she said, her cheeks slightly aching from smiling so much. The week had been an emotional roller-coaster that it hurt every time she smiled.

"Because it is true, you are very beautiful and gorgeous," he admitted softly, taking her hand into his and stroke it slightly making both of them shiver when sparks flew across their skin. He couldn't help but take every chance to hold her hand, signifying she was his.

"You haven't seen many beautiful women, they are more beautiful that me," she replied in modesty, a faint blush still on her lips as her inside swarmed with butterflies.

"Well my eyes are only on you, why would I need to look at other women?" he question with a small smile, he liked seeing her smile and blush because of him.
