As the Valkhyne family arrived, they greeted the royal family as a common courtesy.

Everyone was captivated by Celine's beauty and grace, and her cold and aloof demeanor but when they remember her identity every one of them who heard rumors about her immediately changed their admiration into disapproval and disdain.

Rumors started to buzz around the nobility especially those ladies who were jealous on her beauty. They mercilessly created more rumors against her saying that they knew Celine personally and know how evil she is and her immoral conduct.

Baseless rumors against Celine was passed by one person to another that each words became less or more created another meaning in one's person's ear.

When Celine's friend heard those rumor, they too became shocked but then again with their understanding about her personality and being together with her for a couple of times, they understand that these are all just baseless rumors created to destroy someone's reputation due to jealousy, envy, and hate. They started to feel agitated and angry for those people who have nothing to do but splashing dirty water over the head of their friend as well as feel sympathy to their friend that someone in the dark wants her to fell to ruin but they knew that with their strength and power, they can do nothing but to watch and accompany her in her darkest days.

While those bees are buzzing around in silent, the person in their topic is clueless and busy to greet each noble's hypocrisy praises and compliments.

Celine felt her jaw going numb as she continued smiling and thanking those nobles' flatter on how pretty and elegance she is, how smart and talented she is, and more obvious fake adoration to her. She knew from the start about their pretense towards her as she can see the glints in their eyes... an obvious disgust, a pure contempt, and how they gave a scorn look at her after she turned her backs on them.

She knew that it was all due to her bad reputation and she also knew that they are just singing praises to curry her parent's favor, for political connections... since no matter how aloof their family is, it is hard to deny and ignore how powerful their family is, financially and military.

They maybe, thinking that because she's too young and inexperienced it will be easy for them to be close to her and manipulate her. Thinking that having a close relationship to her it will be easy for them to get what they wanted and can have a connection to her parents, BUT that's where they all wrong and obviously, they also noticed it too.

No matter how they sung their praises to her, Celine maintain her reserved and indifferent smile. She's not snobbish but she also not friendly, difficult for a children on her age to have that kind of smile. It felt for them that she is far experienced than what it seems to be.

This is why she hates social party.

She hates to be in this kind of party.

She learned this kind of happenings from her past experience after she became the perfect daughter of her former parents since they too are like them. Her former parents are a great pretender when it comes to high society's gatherings and so, she was already used to this kind of approach and already accustomed on how to deal with it. She maybe has a little bit interaction with them in her past life due to her former parents order but that doesn't change the fact that she learned and observed them from silent.
