"Should we give up?!"

I look at them and their faces shows that they really wanted to give up but I don't want to. We invested our very own sweat and blood here just to capture and kill the kraken so how can I give up?

"No!" I yelled at them. My eyesight started to blur as my tears forming at the corner of my eyes, I curled my fist really hard and my nails pierced my palm, my body is trembling and my shaking voice said to them, "We... We can't give up. How can we stop halfway when we invested our very own sweat and blood here just to do this quest? No! We can't! I can't!"

After I said that I look down the sea and raised my hand, waving it as the water started to wave and move according to my will. The wave and height of the sea started to increase and slam on the cliff. The sea water started to touch the untouched corpse of the giant worm.

"Please... please smell the worm. Please notice and take our bait... please" I said and continued what I was doing until I exhausted my own strength and fell on my knees.

"Why?! Did we really failed? Why?!"

I felt someone touch my shoulder and hear Coleen's soft voice. "Let's get inside. It's already too late and cold to stay outside"

"But--"

"Stop it already, Celine! Can't you see?! We failed so stop it already!!" Jasmine angrily shouted at me

Failed?

We really failed?

Before I can open my mouth, we heard a loud sound of splashing water and saw fast moves of the sea water waves. My eyes brighten up because I know what it means.

I stood up and started to command them. I don't care if I am the leader of the group or not, but I want this quest to succeed.

When they heard my voice, they wake up from shock and started to do what I said.

We saw the tentacles of the kraken and took our bait.

Coleen and Michelle started to create [Earth Wall] to lock any escape route of the kraken and together with Coleen and Jasmine; we attack the kraken by using different fire element spell. Tanya who started to create [Ice Wall] outside the [Earth Wall] that Coleen and Michelle made to make sure that the wall is really sturdy and hard to destroy. Dianne pushed all the barren that contains oil off the cliff to help our fire bigger.

The sound of our fight alarmed the towns' people as they started to come and watch us from distance.

The tentacles of kraken started to attack us and since it has long and sturdy tentacles, it reaches where we are.

I don't know if the tentacles have eyes but whenever we are, it will know where we are and attacks us.

Our assault is like a multitasking; we continue to attack the main body while dodging the tentacles or slashing it but since it has a sturdy and hard skin, penetrating it is really difficult.

With the help of the kraken's random and unnoticeable attack; our dodge skills and multitask skill level up like just in game. It really helps us improve these two skills and makes our movements faster.

Fighting experience that your life is in the line really helps us increase our power and battle experience but at the same time, it's really dangerous and risky since anytime, we will die for good.
