Messing around with snapchat

So, yesturday I decided to download Snapchat and try to use some filters around the room to see if anything would pop up.

You've probably seen someone use the dog filter or whatever, and have another one pop up, because Snapchat detects a face there. I don't know if I believe the whole detecting the face thing, so that's why I wanted to try it for myself.

So, that's what I did: starting with my room. For most of the time, nothing really happened, until I walked to the corner of my room, so the whole right side of the room was showing on Snapchat. A dog face popped up in the right corner of my room, and it was tilted sideways. The tongue was sticking out like crazy, and the face was shaking. I don't know if it was shaking, because my hands tend to shake, so I am still kind of sceptical of it. Though, that part of the room tends to be breezy and cooler, even though there is no vents. Even the area around a vent doesn't feel like that. So I found it kind of odd because why did the dog face show up there and not anywhere else?

For the bookcase one (which is still towards the right side of the room), two dog faces showed up. I couldn't catch the second one, because it was extremely shaky and very hard to catch.

Anyways, I felt like walking around my house to see if anything else popped up. I was still feeling sceptical of this, because it could just be Snapchat trying to get more views or downloads by creeping people out.

So, the next room. The only other room on the second floor that had another dog filter showing up was the bathroom.

This time it was pretty stable (unlike the others, which were shaky as heck), and not sideways. I found this one a little odd, because I've had paranormal experiences in that spot twice or three times before. Still, it could be Snapchat fooling around. The filter would only show up in that one spot.

Lastly, was the kitchen.

Again, it was pretty stable and not sideways. It would only show up in that one spot as well, and it was always really close to me. If I got too far (not even a metre or two), it would disappear.

So in conclusion, I don't really know why it detects a face in those areas. It was those areas alone, and nowhere else. I don't know if it's paranornal or not, because it very well could be Snapchat messing with you. But, still, I found it pretty cool, and a little fun.
I might do this again, but with the basement to see if anything pops up. I want to see if the filters would show up in those spots again. Perhaps I will do it tomorrow..

So, does anyone believe that this detecting a face could be related to the paranormal? Not in my case, but.. just in general.
