Al Qasimi Palace in RAK

Al Qasimi Palace builds about 30 years ago for a Royal Family in the United Arab Emirates, they called it "Al Qasimi Palace". The palace cost around 500 million dirhams or more than $136 million.

You will be greeted with amazing artworks, beautiful interiors, costly furnishings and several household items for starters leading to a wall with an imitation of blood smeared graffiti and further up an ideal terrace lounge.

The mansion was reportedly haunted after the family decided to leave after their one night stay. Can you imagine the years making this palace? and the family did not stay even for two days! They said that furniture being thrown around and faces appearing at windows. Nobody knows the exact reason, but people believe they witnessed such strange and terrible things inside the palace. Since then almost three decades have been passed but nobody has dared to make this luxurious palace worthy of its living.

After the sunset or at the middle of the day, an inexplicable sound of moving furniture or heavy luggage can be heard occasionally from inside the abandoned palace. Even more terrifying that some claim to have seen little children appearing through the windows who sometimes cry out to them.

The building is now sitting in disrepair while there's been no interest in returning to it for the almost 3 decades. The only person on the premises is the watchman.

Even though access is not allowed inside the former Royal residences, but a little tip at the door can go a long way!
