The look of betrayal and shock on Jade's face was all that confirmed everything. She had seen it all. The years that she had been blamed for the death of our parents and it was me. All along.

"My avenger wanted to avenge my dead father?" I asked slowly, trying to make sense of the situation

"Looks like it." Tristan said quietly, although everyone's attention was directed at Jade. Tears rolled down her cheeks and she had curled up tightly, so her fingers were white. Victoria stood beside her, hands stroking her face. Damon stood behind her, his fingers clutching tightly onto the back of the chair.

"I killed them." I sounded the words out, "I killed mum."

"Don't say that." Jade said, her voice broken, "You didn't know."

"I killed Pierce." a sense of accomplishment rose up in me, "At least you can't take credit for that."

Jade laughed softly at my smirk and I laughed, trying to hide the tears that were threatening to escape.

"Son-of-a-bïtch!" Leon's growled through the room, "I don't care that you had a fücking avenger or whatever it is. You killed our mother!"

"Like you were going to kill Scott, when you got the chance." I snapped at him and he growled at me

"Get him out of here." Damon ordered coldly and Tristan nodded

"Wait where are you taking him?" Jade asked frantically

"To my pack. He'll train to suppress the avenger, until it only comes out for war." Tristan explained and motioned at the guards to take Leon away

"I want him here." Jade protested

"He's staying the hell away from you now." Damon said firmly, "I'm not taking the risk."

"What are you not telling me?" I looked at Jade

"I'm pregnant." she said softly and I looked between her and Damon. He looked plain pissed

"How long?" I asked

"A few weeks already." she looked down at her hands

"You guys..."I trailed off

"It's been weeks since we first consummated the mate bond." he said as a matter of factly and Jade's jaw clenched

"You don't want this baby?" I asked him

"I didn't say that." he said coldly

"Well actions speak louder than words."

"He accused me off sleeping with someone else." Jade smirked, although pain lingered in her eyes

"You want me to check if she's telling the truth?" I asked Damon and he frowned

"What?"

"His witch is a truth finder." Jade said

"Not a bad idea." Alice said, "Maybe Damon won't be such a äss."

"Tell me." I lifted my chin at Jade and she rolled her eyes before speaking up

"This child is Damon's, because he's the last son-of-a-bïtch I slept with." she managed to say that with a huge sarcastic smile moving over her face and everyone there stifled a laugh

"She's telling the truth." I shrugged

"Is that supposed to move me?" Damon asked, brow arching high

"Okay. Liam let's go." Jade stood up slowly, her arm extending, "We need to talk."

"You're not mad?" I asked cautiously, standing up and walking with her to the door

"I can't be Liam." she sighed, "You didn't know what you were doing."

"But that doesn't change the fact that I killed our parents." I said looking at her and anger passed over her features.

"Our mother was our mother, until Jack died." she looked at me, "We both know that she wasn't our mother leading up to her death. Same goes for Pierce."

"I don't even remember it." I rubbed my head, pulling my hair away from my face

"All I remember is seeing the house in flames." she admitted, "Ana tends to sense this sort of thing, so she releases herself. She showed me a little boy, setting that fire."

"I don't get why she didn't show this to you before." I said, "I mean there was all this time where you were questioned about the whole thing."

"I don't know either." she paused, "I guess the timing was right."

"Yeah. Well Leon hates me." I smiled tightly

"He's angry." she touched my arm softly, "It doesn't help that he has an avenger in him."

"Why didn't you and Scott tell us about our dad?" I asked her. She opened her room door, the one she used when she wasn't with Damon and closed it behind me. She then curled up on the window seat, her hands placed loosely on her stomach.

"Scott told me, when he got custody. You guys were like ten and you wouldn't of understood then." she looked out the window, "We were going to tell you when you turned sixteen."

"You didn't know who our dad was, did you?" I told her

"No." she affirmed, "I guess that's why we pushed back telling you two."

"And my avenger knew that Pierce killed my dad, so he tried to have his revenge." I finally got it, even though it had been perfectly shown to me before

"Yeah." Jade pressed her hands against the glass, shivering slightly as the cold glass came in contact with her skin, "Pass me that blanket would you?"

I grabbed the thick fluffy blanket on her bed and half carried, half dragged it to her. I tucked it around her small frame and leaned against the seat, placing my head in her lap.

"Are you mad?" I asked again repeating my question from earlier, "Or upset at least?"

"Mad? No. Upset? A little." she shrugged, "I can't hold a grudge over that. It would be a waste."

"A little like your grudge over Scott." I pointed out and she frowned

"That's not little." she protested

"Whatever." I rolled my eyes, "Can I go visit them? I need a break from royal life."

"Liam-" she started

"Jade come on. I miss Scott and I would like to go be a supportive uncle and visit his kid." she looked at me thoughtfully

"If I move the luna ceremony to this week, will you stay?" she asked

"Fine." I agreed, "As long as I can leave straight after."

"Deal." she rubbed my head as a sign of agreement, "Maybe I'll visit. To go see Kar and Tommy."

"You do you sister."

"Don't worry, I will."
