The ride back to the house was silent, but it was a comfortable silence.

Both of us too consumed in our own thoughts to acknowledge each other.

It's around 1 am and I'm tired again.

After our moment outside, we went inside and pretended like nothing had happened.

It's not like we made anything official. It's clear now that I love him and he loves me.

I've obviously never had a boyfriend before, so I really don't know how this works.

After another ten minutes of silence, we pull into the drive way.

I get out, excited to throw myself in bed and fall asleep.

We lazily make our way to the front door. David unlocks it and walks inside.

I turn to go into my room, but David grabs me by the waist and picks me up. He brings me to his room.

"Dave!" I squeal in surprise as he grabs me.

"Sleep with me tonight?" He whines, placing me back on the floor.

"I need to change first, though." I giggle.

He stops me, pulling a clickbait shirt out and tossing it to me.

He looks at me for a reaction.

"Turn around." I give up. He does what I say.

I turn my back to him, just in case. I pull the dress over my head and slip on the oversized shirt.

Luckily, I don't need to change into shorts because I wore some under my dress.

I give him the green light to turn around before I get into the bed.

We cuddle up together, sinking into the comfortable bed.

We both fall asleep thinking about the night we just had.

*the next morning*
9:45 am

I open my eyes to see the bright sunlight blocked by dark curtains.

I roll over, expecting to see David. Instead, I see an empty spot on the bed and a sticky note on his pillow.

"Out filming, won't be back until later. I'll text you. - David"

Sighing, I strech my arms and legs as I sit up.

He's never up this early, unless it's important. That's odd.

I grab my phone off the nightstand and make my way out of Davids room.

I still can't believe what happened yesterday.

I also can't believe we didn't talk about it yet.

I guess that'll have to wait until he gets home.
