It's dark. Why did these words come to me? Where had they come from? I haven't had an experience like this before. In fact, I don't remember ever having an experience of any kind. This is my first time hearing a voice within my head. I don't have a head though? What the hell is going on?
"Hello?"
I try to call out. But I hear nothing in return. Did I even say anything?
"Hello!"
I call out again, this time louder. Though this time my suspicion is realized. I had not made a single sound. The only sound I hear is the sound in my head, the head I do not have!
"Dammit."
I hear an unfamiliar voice, different from the one inside the head I do not have.
"I swear sometimes it seems like these things have a mind of their own."
It's a man speaking. He sounds frustrated; I wonder what about.
"I'm gonna have to reset it again."
Reset? What is he going to reset?
