Amalie's POV:
"Remind me, why am I doing this?" I asked frustrated wearing the ridiculous heels.
"Simple, because you accepted my brother's offer to be his date for the charity ball annually held by our family." Serena answered shrugging.
Now if you're wondering what's going on then it's like this, we returned 3 days back from Australia, and as mentioned Brian takes me to meet the bodyguards that are now assigned to me. Their names are Daphne and Carlos. Though, Daphne is just the type of person I needed Carlos is your usual black suit stereo type. But with mine and Daphne's constant nagging he finally gave in and now wears regular clothes. Daniel wasn't returning till today and would meet us there at the ball. Now comes to my current predicament. Austin asked me to be his date to this charity ball. I didn't want to but did it for two reasons. He asked me in a really sweet manner. 2nd because Dad stated since Scarlet can't make it one of us daughters should present.
"But in all honesty, the amount of fuss you make about heels, you're a natural in them." Serena pointed out.
"Doesn't mean I like them, at the end of the day my feet are gonna be killing me because of them." I hissed.
"Okay, enough, so now that you two are ready I'll do your hair and makeup." Lillian said entering my room.
Lil was wearing black off shoulder dress with beading at waist line and flows to the bottom. To complete the look she had smoky makeup.
As for Serena she was wearing knee length beige color one shoulder black lace detail long sleeve which has a black belt at the waist line form fitted at the top and flowing at the bottom.
I sighed and let her do my hair and makeup. It's not like I don't do well but she has a real knack for it. I asked her to keep mine natural because I hate caking up my face like those bimbos. So you must be wondering what I'm wearing. Then; I chose something in between beige and pink dress, no sleeve, and applique round neck lace up. The dress is form fitting at the upper part but flows to the bottom. Thankfully, my parents had already informed Lil, about this upcoming ball, so she had our dresses ready by the time we returned. The only thing we had to do was match shoes with them.
As requested she didn't cake up my face and honestly I really like the look.

At first I was going to wear white heels but seeing my makeup I changed my mind and decided to go with my rose-gold strap heels. It matched my look better. Besides the heel was smaller making it easy walk in them. I don't like to do much with my hair and Lil knows it so she just curled them and them in a half up do. Serena and Lil left their hair open. My parents had already left and now it was only us.
