The census of the hospital has dramatically increased so management has taken most of the IT nurses off the project and back into bedside nursing. It's weird to be back at the bedside and staffing is absolutely garbage right now. Because the census was so low for so long, they let staff members furlough themselves and redeployed many of us to outpatient locations. Hopefully they bring those nurses back because we desperately need them. So many TPN and lipids to hang and so little time!!
