True to Grandma Esme's word, all of the Cullen's took the week off to do fun family activities with me before my departure on Sunday morning.

Mom, Grandma Esme, and Aunt Rose took me to Seattle for shopping, Dad and Grandpa Carlisle stealing me for shopping for books and art supplies, We went as a family to the zoo in Seattle, as well as some greenhouses and the Seattle Aquarium. Edward and I would use the time that Bella was grounded to slowly pack up my bookshelves to send them over to Italy, while talking about anything and everything as Mom was planning a sendoff party for Saturday. Uncle Emmett and I would go on hikes through the woods and talk about future trips we would take before I was changed, such as hiking the Appalachian trails. Even Aunt Rose and I spent some bonding time together, painting our nails and her playing with my hair as we talked quietly.

We had told Charlie that I was going to college in Italy, and wanted to spend some time with Isabella before we left, and seeing as I was the only one who secretly answered Isabella's emails while we were gone, he liked me the most out of the family and allowed me and Isabella to spend time together in her room even though she was supposed to be grounded. Edward was annoyed when he found out I had kept in contact, but didn't say anything about it, not wanting to fight before I left.

In between all of the activities we did, separately and as a family, I knew we had keen red eyes watching our every move, yet I never saw my guard, nor called out for them. I wanted to live in denial for a few days more that I would not be leaving my family, and meeting my guard would burst that bubble.
