After experiencing the second memory, Harry couldn't help but let his curiosity grow. He wanted to know more about how happened to Astrid and Sirius's relationship. It was obvious that so much more happened during Hogwarts that made Sirius loath his sister and brother.

What could have possible broken their strong bond?

Harry was determined to find out as he flipped over to the next page and continued to read the next entry.

Dear diary,

Regulus got sorted into Slytherin today. I'm glad that I get to spend more time with him, but I'm disappointed in Sirius's reaction to his sorting. As soon as the hat declared that Regulus was sorted into the Slytherin house, a sour expression made a permanent home on Sirius's face.

Sirius has truly changed ever since he got sorted into Gryffindor. He has gotten into more fights at home and has been seeking around to hang out with his friends every night. We have also gotten into a few fights as well. It feels like we aren't even family anymore.

That's alright though, Regulus and I don't need him. We have each other. I know Sirius's attitude has been hurting Regulus more than he lets on. After all, Sirius is his older brother. But he has me. I'm not going anywhere.

The room got cloudy, and Harry found Astrid this time not writing in her diary but walking inside the Hogwarts Express. Harry suspected that this was before Regulus got sorted.

As Astrid guided Regulus into an empty compartment, Sirius looked uncomfortable as he shifted his weight on his feet. Sirius looked as if he ready to dash off at any moment. He was probably just with his siblings for the moment so his parents wouldn't notice him sneaking off to see his Gryffindor friends.

Annoyed by his demeanor, Astrid turned around to look at Sirius and raised her eyebrow. "You can leave now. We both know you want to go find where your new brother is."

Sirius couldn't help but roll his eyes at Astrid. "Astrid, as comical as your attitude may be sometimes, you do get a bit annoying. I don't see what your issue with James is, he is a perfectly good lad. You act like I'm not supposed to be friends with people in my house."

Astrid's eyes turned cold as she stares at him straight in the eyes. "That's fine if you want to make friends, but that doesn't automatically mean that you abandon your family for them." Venom dropped with every word Astrid said.

With that, Sirius walked out of the compartment and slammed the door. Harry watched as Astrid turned towards her younger brother and sat down beside him.

"Don't worry Reggie, you still got your older sister here with you."

Regulus couldn't help a small smile twitch onto his face as he rolled his eyes. "Oh, this year is going to be a fun one," said Regulus sarcastically. Astrid hit him with her book as the two broke out laughing in the compartment.

As the siblings started to talk about Hogwarts, the scenery changed again. This time, Harry appeared in the Hogwarts Great Hall. He watched as McGonagall called up Regulus Black before he walked up and sat on the wooden stool.

Within seconds of touching the top of his head, the sorting hat called out Slytherin and the boy stumbled quickly to the table that erupted with cheers. Astrid was the loudest student of all as she cheered for her brother. Right next to Astrid were Ember and Kai, who joined in on cheering for her brother.

As Regulus approached the table, Harry watched as Astrid wrapped him in her arms before turning her head towards the Gryffindor table.

Astrid noticed Sirius's glum face at Regulus sorting. Sirius couldn't help but hope he wouldn't be the only outcast in the family sorted into Gryffindor. To him, it seemed as if the sorting hat was playing a cruel trick on him.

The scenery changed once again and Harry found himself in one of the Hogwarts halls, where Sirius and Astrid were arguing in front of him. The memory was blurred, but all you could hear was the anger behind Astrid and Sirius's voice.

Despite their voices being muffled and fog covering their faces, Harry could sense the tension that was in the room.

Before the memory ended, all Harry could hear was Sirius shouting at Astrid as she walked away. "Fine! Become like them why don't you. You aren't no sister of mine."
