This was all her fault, Arnav grumbled. And he was stupid... stupid... and a dank idiot... to have agreed to her idea. She caught him at a very vulnerable moment, in a very giving mood, considering he had just had one of the best orgasms of his life. And of course, now that he's thinking of it, that is the reason why she must've asked him then, cause she would know that he wouldn't agree to this juvenile idea otherwise. Stupid... that's what he was. And a love-sick idiot. Though, would he still be considered a love-sick idiot if they were six years into their married life. Or has he been strongly relegated to the category of hen-pecked husband now? A total Joru Ka Ghulam?

"Arnavji", the wife and slave-master in question walked into the room, in her own bustling style, stirring the air and bringing light and a skipped heartbeat to his life. Yepp... love-sick! And proud!.

"Hmmm", he didn't look up from his laptop, knowing what she was going to talk about. That's all everyone in the house has been talking about for the last two weeks, ever since his crazy wife had come up with the idea and his supportive sister and sympathetic Nani had endorsed it. Mami would've have gone along with it for sure, knowing her, but even Payal and Akash had agreed, proving to him that Khushi's special brand of crazy had finally pervaded every corner of their household. That stupid costume party!

It was Aarav's 12th birthday, and as a treat to him, Khushi had decided that they would have a costume party... again. He'd loved the super-hero theme for his 9th birthday, but this time, she'd decided that all invitees would dress up, even the adults. And apparently, everyone but him liked the idea. They'd spent the last two weeks discussing, arguing, debating and planning, until everyone had landed on the costume they were wearing. And the theme was Bollywood. Khushi had announced that she would choose Arnav's costume, and he had gratefully agreed. His only condition being that he wouldn't wear anything that was related to Salman Khan. He was still annoyed at the way Khushi drooled over him, though she was being swayed towards Ranbir Kapoor nowadays. He was slightly less annoyed with Ranbir Kapoor.

"I'm taking my costume and getting dressed with Di and Jiji in Di's room. I'm keeping your costume on the bed, please get ready and come downstairs. The guests will start arriving in an hour, and we might need your help with setting up", she told him, while pulling out a packet from the closet and leaving it on the bed.

"Hmmmm", he replied, rolling his eyes at her enthusiasm.

She walked over to him, leant down and gave him a quick kiss on the top of his head, "Thank you", she smiled and waited for him to acknowledge her words.

He looked up at that, at the bright smile on her face... and melted.

"For what, Khushi?", he asked. He didn't remember anything he'd done to deserve her gratitude.

"For agreeing to this idea... for agreeing to get dressed up... with minimal grumbling... atleast in front of Aarav", she grinned at him.

He smirked, shaking his head. Then grabbed her hand as she tried to walk away, and pulled hard until she lost her balance and fell on his lap. He gathered her close, burying his face in her neck, nuzzling the side of her face.

"There is an ulterior motive to this, you know?". A nip to her earlobe.

"There is?". A responding slide of her cheek against his, while arching to give more access to her neck.

"You'll have to make up to me for this in another way". A suggestive, open mouthed kiss at the back of her ear, "Deal?" his tongue tasting her pounding pulse.

She sat up at that, "You look for deals in everything"

He smiled widely at her feigned indignation.
