Nini grew up her entire life in a sheltered household. Her parents shielded her from everything they possibly could so she's a really pure soul and everyone sees her as the angel of the town. Nini and Ashlyn are best friends and Nini is close friends with Gina and Kourtney. They're an entire friend group. Nini's dad's name is Lenord, and her mom's name is Cece.
Ricky grew up in a broken household. His parents were always arguing but tried to save their marriage for Ricky's sake. When Ricky got old enough to drive he'd leave the house most of the time so that he could escape his parents yelling. He became careless and didnt care about the consequences for his actions anymore. His parents are Lynn and Mike and he's best friends with EJ, and big red.
Nini's parents tried as best they could to keep Nini away from Ricky knowing that he was no good for her image but something about them not wanting her around him made her want to be around him even more.
