Christmas went by fast. It was now Monday and I was getting ready for a shopping day with Landon.
The Mafia ball was in a day and my curiosity and excitement only grew stronger.
I made my way downstairs, grabbing my purse and house keys in the process.
There was a knock on my door just as I was walking towards it.
I opened the door and was met with a normal emotionless Landon.
Somehow I saw his grey eyes light up when I opened the door.
I smiled and wrapped my arms around his waist.
His arms came around my body as he embraced me.
I sighed as his normal cologne hit my nose sending me into a daze.
"Ready?" He asks pulling away.
I nod and keep his hand in mine as we walk to his car.
He opens the door for me and then shuts it once I was in.
He gets in on his side and speeds down the street.
The ride to the city was fairly short considering it was an hour or so drive.
I smiled happily as I watched people move around the city.
Landon had parked and we made our way to a fancy looking store.
Landon entwined his hand in mine and pulled me along with him into the store.
A beautiful red-headed lady came into sight as we walked in.
She smiled and greeted us.
"Hello, how can I assist you two today?" She had a slight accent in her voice.
"Ha bisogno di un vestito." Landon speaks.
Translation; She needs a dress.
"Va bene. Qualche specifica?" The lady answers back.
Translation; Okay. Any specific?
"Fino a lei." Landon says and then turns to me.
Translation; Up to her.
I look at them confused.
The lady turns her attention to me and smiles.
"Follow me and I'll show you our finest dresses." She says and starts walking.
I walk behind her as Landon takes his phone to his ear.
I thank her as I see the most beautiful dresses I've ever come across insight.
Landon takes a seat on a chair while I look through all the dresses.
My eyes land on a black dress that hung in the far corner.
