Third POV - Jackson L.A Household

"Why are you on their side? Can't you see I was attacked?!?" Clay asked, in a desperate attempt to plead to his mother.

Gaia looked at the vine sphere before looking back at Clay.

"I can see clear evidence against you" Gaia said coldly.

"Aren't you meant to support your son?" Clay asked, with tears in his eyes "Don't you care for me?"

Gaia's hardened gaze softened slightly.

"You are my eldest alive demigod son, I do care for you" Gaia stated, no emotion in her voice "However when it comes to disrupting your sister's life, that is not right"

"But Jackson-"

"Perseus Jackson is a hero, a saviour" Gaia stated "I have worked with him many times, and I know he is kind hearted and will treat your sister with the at most respect; don't you want your sister to be happy?"

"B-But she will always be in danger around him! She could get h-"

"She is a demigod, of course she will always be in danger, even more endanger than Perseus due to being a blood daughter of mine" Gaia stated, narrowing her eyes "You are acting like she isn't my daughter"

Clay widen his eyes and bowed.

"N-No! Mother, I would never say that s-she isn't your d-daughter" Clay stammered, frightened "I-I just worry for her"

"I know you worry, but controlling her life will not do that" Gaia expressed.

"But I am not-"

"Isolating her from her husband and other friends, making her believe that the purest soul on earth, the loyalist human alive cheated on her using an old image of a previous relationship she didn't know about" Gaia stated "And then out most refusing to tell her about her father nor let her meet him, I thought I told you to tell her"

"But-"

"Clay, humans have short lives, which they all want to live out happily" Gaia continued "I know you think what you did is right but Ava was not happy, she was happy with Perseus. And you cannot control her. If she is making a bad decision, she has to figure that out herself, not with your influence"

"Hang on-"

"Do NOT TELL ME TO HANG ONTO SOMETHING WHEN I AM SPEAKING TO YOU!" Gaia yelled her eyes glowing a deadly green.

"Okay, Lady Gaia, please calm down"

Percy stepping through the opening of the vine sphere as it started to disappear.

Ava had a weak looking Emily in her lap, who were talking quietly to each other.

"I understand you are trying to protect myself and Ava, but he doesn't know what he has done wrong" Percy said, looking at the primordial before looking at Clay, who seemed clearly distressed "He wants to protect his family...and I understand that"

Gaia looked at the multiple time saviour of the universe.

"But young Perseus-"

"He doesn't need to be yelled at, he needs help" Percy said, his gaze on Clay making Clay coward slightly "Only if he wants it"

Clay's frightened gaze turned into a snarl.

"I know I'm not wrong and I don't need help! I know you're bad for my sister!" Clay snapped.
