Anna was ten when she started receiving gifts from an anonymous person for her birthday. But every time she opened the gift box, it would be empty and she would throw them into the garbage. She continued to receive them every year and at one point she just started throwing them without even opening.
When her eighteenth birthday arrived, she didn't receive the anonymous gift. Strangely she started wondering why and she kept thinking about it the whole day. On the night of her birthday, when she decided to go to bed, she found the gift on her bed. Immediately she grabbed it and though she knew it would be empty, she had this weird urge to open it.
To her utmost surprise, she found a beautiful necklace inside and a note along with it. It said, 'You have finally touched the age to be mine. Here on you will be able to see my gifts. God! How terrible it has been kissing you, though you couldn't feel!' Shakily, Anna looked up to see a man in a black cloak with no eyes grinning at her.
