We just arrested a serial killer who had been escaping the police for years. When we went through her possessions we found a tape recorder in which she had recorded her victims screaming before they died. We didn't hear all of them until the killer was sentenced to death. One day, I was listening to random tapes from it and was shocked when I heard one particular tape. All I heard in it was the laughter of a man until it stopped with the sound of the splatter of blood. And since then, it never got out of my head.
