"we were the only things we had,"

"Fuck, I lost again!" Luthor's jaw tightened as he turned his phone off aggressively

"Serves you right, loser!" Lilith sticks her tounge out

"I told you we're gonna lose the signal since we're near the mountain already, you wouldn't listen," Agatha scolded

Luthor mocked her expression while rolling his eyes

"God, you're all too immature for your age," Vana facepalmed herself

"Says the one who almost picked a fight with the driver," Brazen cackled as he looked outside the window of the bus

Surprisingly the driver was decent enough to take them to their destination, they're near the site by the help of Agatha's GPS. Everything's going smooth so far. They wondered how long until shit goes wild.

What Agatha said was true, the bus have fifty-six seats and they were only occupied by the fourteen of them, no other students were with them. They guessed the students hates them that much.

Keno, Persene, Teivel and Tris were at the first four seats

Luthor, Lilith, Wrath, Acedia, Agatha, Ira, Arden, Vana and Avarice were all in the middle.

And Brazen's at the very back of the bus. He opened his window and watched the tree leaves fall from above. He suddenly had the urge to take a smoke.

Since he's far from the others he took out a candy and a cigarette from his back pocket.

He cupped all of his pocket searching for his lighter when it was handed right on his face

He looked up and smiled, "Thanks Ava, you're truly a lifesaver," He smirked as he accepted it

"Want one?" He offered to the girl

Avarice shakes her head as she sat next to him. She looked outside the window and she immediately found peace at the sight.

The road was filled with dead leaves, and they're surrounded by a forest. She have always wanted to go on a roadtrip with them. She's glad it's happening now.

But her back is aching already because they've been riding for almost seven hours now. Agatha never said Archfiend Mountain's location is that far. Nevertheless, it was exciting.

It's already the golden hour, when the sunlight is just right, soft and warm. It is as if they are the protagonists of some classic movie.

"Who wants some music?" Tris asked them as she neared towards the other

"Hell yeah! Why didn't we think of that?" Ira replied

"Wrath's been listening to one since we took off," Acedia mumbled while pointing at the boy beside her who had his headphones on

"Who wants some beer?!" Luthor hyper actively yelled while standing up

"You've got to be fucking kidding me," Vana amusedly said with a wide grin on her face

If there's one thing left in this world she would absolutely rejoice if it's a beer. It's her most favourite beverage more than water.

"Luthor? Don't tell me you took Dad's one case of beer? He was looking for it last night asking me and shit," Lilith obstructed

Luthor laughed horrendously, "I did! Brazen and Wrath helped me steal it though,"

Brazen perked up when he heard his name, "What?"

"We took Dad's beer last night, didn't we?" Luthor looked at him with a double meaning

"Oh yeah, we did. It wouldn't be a good trip if the beer's missing, yeah?" Brazen approached them as well leaving Avarice behind.

"You should've brought a martini too," Tris joked

Wrath started opening two bottles of beer and handed the other to Acedia only to be rejected.

"I can't drink right now," She apologetically said

Wrath shrugged his shoulders as he chugged the first bottle and went to the other one. It was satisfying to watch.

If there's one person who has the highest alcohol tolerance it would be Wrath. The boy is literally the one who takes care of them when they get wasted.

They were surprised when Keno took a bottle and sat with them.

"What?" He asked cluelessly

"Shouldn't this be the part where you stop us because we're doing something ridiculous?" Ira suspiciously said

Keno chortled, "I don't wanna ruin the mood, enjoy yourselves and besides nobody's here but us." He opened the bottle cap by his teeth then left

Brazen snickered, "What a show off!" He exclaimed

The sound of bottles clinking echoed throughout the whole bus. Everyone except for Persene and Acedia were already drinking.

They were stunned when the bus accelerated and Luthor almost lose his balance, Arden's quick thinking held him by the waist and pushed him to his seat

Wrath is starting to get mad again, and so he rushed to see what was going on.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?" He yelled yet the driver seemed like he's not listening

"Wrath, calm down!" Teivel intervened

Wrath glared at her, "He didn't even warned us, Luthor lost his balance what if he fell and broke his neck?"

Luthor laughed, "That's actually a great idea!"

Their glares went to Luthor who gulped and drank continuously, "I was joking," He added

"Sir, stop the bus, someone's in the middle of the road." Keno muttered

Instead of listening, the driver accelerated even more. His wide eyes were not leaving the road, and he's surely aware a person is waving their hand at them to stop the bus.

"Sir!" Keno yelled not knowing what to do

The driver stepped on the accelerator pedal and they lost their balance once again.

It was near, they wouldn't like the outcome of it if they won't do anything.

"Keno!" Persene shouted in fear

Keno just put his hand on the steering wheel and pulled it to the side, the driver tried to control it once again but Keno is doing his best to make the bus go right and avoid collidinh with the man.

The man in the middle of the road was suspiciously still.

Before they can completely realize what really is going on, they were greeted by the horrifying scene infront of them

But one thing is for sure. Keno evidently saw the wide grin plastered on the man's face as they all fought for their lives.

"VANA!"

Luthor's voice was the last thing they all heard as they slowly lose conciousness.
