Chapter 16: All of You

The four of them rode into town and passed by a group of kids.

"It's her! I found her!" The coffee kid shouted.

"I found her!" Another kid argued.

Another grabbed the coffee cup and started hitting it with a spoon.

"She's back! She's back! She's back!"

(Y/n) steered the horse back to their destroyed home and Mirabel and (Y/n) hopped off the horse.

"Mirabel?" She heard her moms voice calling for her and ran towards her. "Mirabel!"

They ran towards each other and embraced.

"Mamá."

"Mi amor, I was so worried. We couldn't find you."

"There we're bees everywhere." Agustín cut in, covered in bee stings again. "I'll be okay."

"Uh...not if we don't have a house." Camilo said.

Félix elbowed him.

"What? We don't have a house. I can't say we don't have a house? What is that? Not a house."

Isaiah came up next to (Y/n) and wrapped an arm around her shoulder and kissed her head.

Mirabel looked at their old house.

Mirabel: "Look at this home, we need a new foundation. It may seem hopeless, but we'll get by just fine."

Mirabel: "Look at this family, a glowing constellation."

She gestured for her family to come with her into the house.

Mirabel: "So many stars and everybody wants to shine. But the stars don't shine they burn."

She knelt down as Antonio ran up to her.

Mirabel: "And the constellations shift."

She ran over to Luisa and helped her lift up a piece of rubble.

Mirabel: "I think it's time you learn. You're more than just your Gift."

Abuela: "And I'm sorry I held on too tight. Just so afraid I'd lose you too."

Abuela: "A miracle is not, some magic that you've got."

Abuela turned to Bruno and held her arms out for him.

Abuela: "The miracle is you. Not some Gift, just you. The miracle is you."

Julieta and Pepa embraced their brother.

All: "All of you, all of you."

Camilo: "Okay, so...we gonna talk about Bruno?"

Camilo was confused.

Antonio: "That's Bruno."

Bruno: "Yeah, there's a lot to say about Bruno. I'll start, okay."

Bruno grabbed Pepa's hand and twirled her around.
