He couldn't remember much from when he was born, but only that it was a flash of light, and his father was in a form that would soon to be called Humanity, and his father's soothing voice calling him, giving him and his brother their names name in a tongue now long forgotten,
after them, the angels, and them the universe and them, his father's "Magnum Opus" in one of their numerous tongues, the Humans, he would never forget what his father told him and his brother,

"They shall inherit the earth, and you both shall be their Shepard."

His brother understood immediately but he did not, why must these humans inherit it, they are nothing but destructive, violent and greedy, why not him, his brother and the Angels inherit the world? But alas his father gave no answer, only the words "You shall see, what I and your brother see, in time my son."

"But what do I lack? Why must you not reveal this to me?"

"That, my son is my mission to you, and being told why will anger you greatly, it is better to learn the answer for yourself."

His father's wisdom was still as cryptic as ever

This... This was unfair, he had the same omniscience as them, unparalleled knowledge in everything, he knew that humans were unstable creatures trusting emotions rather than logic, while the angels on the other hand were rather the opposite, logic ruled them, as father put it they were perfect, why must the angels protect such imperfect beings? Did father not trust them?

His father's reasoning?

"There's a plan for everything."

It was annoying, suffocating, anger-inducing, it was funny they were the ultimate beings, rivaling entire pantheons, they could easily defeat the demigods of Greece, Scandinavia, Egypt, the Pagan gods all at once and perhaps kill their respective pantheons, just the three of them, but here he was acting like a human, falling to anger, he had to confront his father, only to be met with disappointment with words such as

"Can't you see?"

"The beauty of the humans?"

"My- Our Greatest Creations?"

He could never see it, he never once did see it, they were stupid, animalistic, emotional, too complex, even the dumber ones were so dumb they thought they were smarter than the rest, this was to be his father's inheritors? The ones they made the Sacred Gears for? The very same ones who are worshipping the other pantheons? The ungrateful swine!

"Perhaps you should shed your preconceptions of them."

The other being looked at his father and so did his brother with faces of shock mixed with horror, he was going to exile one of his sons, his very own flesh and blood to earth and the one to inherit his more... Emotional side, too. The total opposite of his brother who goes down to earth later on and becomes an example of humanity should be, the being with almost infinite patience and toleration, gifting upon humanity wisdom and a new way of living, until he was nailed to a cross by the Romans.

"Father, you cannot-"

He was cut off by his father's glare and his father's entire demeanor changed, it was as if he was commanding him, not as his father or his creator but as his superior, the very same tone that he give when ordering the angels,

"You shall be sent to Eden for the time being."

"Father, you cannot be serious."

"You shall meditate on this whilst there."

The younger brother open his mouth as if trying to object, but was met with a glare from his father, a literal glare that could kill.

"Why must I be banished to Eden?" The younger brother spoke
