Adonis returned to his room after about an hour or so. He walked in when the boys and I were flipping the page. He quirked a brow in confusion upon seeing us. I laughed at his expression. I folded the corner of the page we were on and closed the book.

I scooted down the middle of the bed and crawled off. "What's with that look? We're reading a story." I could barely contain my laughter. I strolled over to him and stood in front of him. I had to strain my neck to look up at him, because he was at least five inches taller than me.

He shook his head, a small smile adorning his features. "Nothing nothing," he answered, waving it off. I chuckled at him. His face suddenly became serious.

My smile slowly disappeared. I noticed the two phantoms walk up and stand on either side of me. "What is it?" I asked Adonis. His expression now concerned me.

He sighed. "Your parents. They want the phantoms and I out of here by dusk." He informed. My eyes widened. Adonis didn't look too upset about it though.

"What? That's absurd," I responded in shock. I saw the phantoms look at me. I watched as the raven haired man in front of me began walking over to his desk. He leaned against it after turning around.

He crossed his arms over his chest. "Well, I can't say it came as a surprise once I heard." He looked into my eyes. "While they may have not seen me there, the entire town saw the phantoms, even though they don't understand what happened. Don't worry though, there is no reason for me to be upset with them, your parents specifically," he said gently, sensing my nervousness.

I nodded in understanding. "Did they... say anything about me?" I asked quietly. I dreaded the answer. A yes or a no were both bad. I played with the sleeves of my dress.

His eyes seemed to scan my face. "Not to me, but I overheard them talking. Something about inviting someone to see you," he explained vaguely. That sent a shiver down my spine. What if it's the priest? Are my parents going to kill me?

I bit my lip, keeping my head down. "Oh... I see. Thanks for telling me," I stated. I didn't know what else to say. I was scared. I didn't want to die. It would come as no surprise if they did call for the priest now, after they let me get taken away.

Adonis walked up to me and waved the phantoms away. They quickly nodded and left the room. The man gently took the fallen pieces of hair in front of my face in between his fingers. I stared up at him with a pink blush and my eyes met with his. He looked so affectionate. He pulled my hair behind my ear before trailing his hand down my jaw. My breath hitched, but I didn't dare move. It was hot in here.

He tilted his head, stopping his hand's movements at my chin. "Run away with me, Mora," he said in a hushed tone. A gasp left my lips and my eyes widened. "Run away with me, Mora." The words echoed in my mind. Like a clock, ticking over and over again. "Run away with me."

There wasn't a decision to be made. I already knew my answer. I grabbed his hand in mine and leaned into it. "Okay." I didn't hesitate or stutter. It was the most clear answer I've ever heard. He didn't look surprised by it either. He just seemed proud and that made me happy. I couldn't help but bite my lip as I smiled. There wouldn't be any worrying anymore.

After that I quickly ran to my room. The large excited grin never left my face. I don't think I've ever smiled so widely. I struggled a little to pull a suitcase from my closet. I swiftly threw clothes and necessities into the case.

However, I was interrupted when my door opened. "KIKIMORA! What are you doing!!?" My heart sank at the sound of my mother's shriek. I stopped what I was doing and just stared downward. "Answer me!" She demanded angrily.
