➯𝚏𝚒𝚟𝚎 𝚍𝚊𝚢𝚜 𝚕𝚊𝚝𝚎𝚛 "Did you ever figure out who that girl was?" Jordan Pope asked, currently a sophomore, and on the basketball team with Jalen. "A lot of people were saying her and Cam are a thing."
"Nah, they're family friends she's just staying with him," Jalen informed dapping Jordan up before the sophomore left inside the class.
Jalen walked further down the hall and entered AP Lit with no sign or Jacobi, but Gina was in her seat quietly writing in her journal.
The girl didn't bother to look up from her desk to speak of at least saying hello, leaving Jalen to do the greetings, "Hey Gina." He spoke and the girl's head snapped up and she waved with a small smile. "You don't speak?"
"Hi Jalen, how are you? Does your bruise feel better?" The girl spoke turning her attention back to the book as Jalen raised both eyebrows.
"I'm good, and yeah I told you it wasn't anything major. How are you?"
The girl hesitated to look up to make eye contact before looking back down at the book, "I'm fine."
Jalen shifted in his seat and tilted his head, "You sure?"
"Yeah." The girl nodded this time making sure not to meet his gaze as Dr. Mays began speaking.
