All six teenagers sprawled around Joshua's living room tired from the long day they had. Gina knew one thing when it came time to turn it up, it was Joshua's thing. It was a day of endless fun with no break or rest. Now they all found themselves on the brink of falling asleep — or passing out — now that they finally had the time to do so.

"You guys remember..." Cyntara started barely speaking as she lay across the recliner, "our time capsule from eighth grade?"

"I remember that." Jalen chuckled dryly, as usual, messing with his curls.

"What happened to it?" Cyntara asked slowly sitting up and looking around at all the boys.
Gina walked back into the Christopher living room handing our water bottles to each of her friends before plopping down on the couch beside Jalen.

Dior squinted at the two as she peeked over Jalen's phone while he took a picture, "y'all never answered my question."  Both Gina and Jalen looked up from the phone waiting for more context from the boy, "hello?"

"What question Dior?" Jalen asked causing the sophomore to roll his eyes dramatically.

"Are you guys dating or not?"

"No." Gina said shortly, "we aren't."

"Then why'd you sit by Jalen?" Dior pressed.
