Chapter 3: Act 3: (A Meeting With Grandmother?!)

"Well I think it is only fair if it was Athanasia would picked out the object." Than all eyes went towards me

'Huh?'

'A divine object? What's that?' I genuinely had no clue as to what was happening

"Grandma... what's a divine object?" I asked while tugging on her white sleeves to gain her attention and keeping it.

"Well my dear, a divine object is an item that holds your mana and should you ever need it you can use that item to assist you but that depends on the item you use for example..." She explained well until her son interrupted

"You can use a weapon or a catalyst for the divine item." Gilgamesh said with clear interest in his eyes

"No that's too violent, you can use a necklace, earrings or a ring as the item as well." Ninsun quickly rebuked her son for suggesting such a thing after all... what would she do if her granddaughter ended the same way as her father!

"What's wrong with a weapon? She'll even learn how to defend herself so Enkidu doesn't keep watching over her."

"You shouldn't say that Gil, especially in front of your own daughter but I agree it would be beneficial if she learned how to fight in the event that I'm not there to protect her." Enkidu agreed but I can tell... he wanted to send time with his best friend again.

'Mmm learning how to use a weapon would be helpful and in case Gilgamesh decides he no longer wants me to be around... so that means I should choose a weapon!' Alright I made my decision in order to survive, I'm gonna have to learn how to fight!

"I wanna learn how to fight!" I yelled out cheerfully which Gilgamesh smirked at and Ninsun well... she had a look of horror as if I was just poisoned

"See mother, the child agrees that means we are going with my idea, she'll be choosing a weapon." Gilgamesh got up from his golden throne and walked over to us

"We'll will be going in your treasury to choose something Gilgamesh." Enkidu cocked his head to the side as walked over to where Gilgamesh, Ninsun and I were

"Yes naturally, since she is my daughter only the finest of weapons are suited for her." As he spoke a ringing sound started to vibrate through the air as a golden portal had open up for us to go inside.

"At least you know how to indulge..."Ninsun muttered under her breath as she held me tight and we all entered through the portal and on the other side...

'A-Am I in heaven?!!!' Everywhere you looked was gold.

Coins, gems, weapons, jewelry, fine clothing, beautiful art and even cutlery

"Is it me? Or have this vault gotten bigger since last time I saw it?" The blonde woman questioned CLEARLY unfazed by the sheer amount of wealth in this one room alone

'If I die this life again by my dad than I will die in peace after seeing this.' I felt so happy just because of gold... I think have an addiction...

"Anyways now that where here, Athanasia go ahead and pick something that peaks your fancy." Ninsun Lets me down to give me the chance to look around and boy did I look around.

Every single corner I turned I just gold and everything shiny. He wouldn't mind if I take one right? I mean there is so much here Gilgamesh will never even notice... than suddenly I felt a chill down my spine and I looked over my shoulder to see Gilgamesh staring dear at me.

"Athanasia! Stop playing in gold and choose a weapon! I would like to get back to relaxing as quick as possible." Gilgamesh was clearly irritated perhaps a bit at his own mother for ruining his break

"Sorry! Daddy!" I apologized quickly to make sure I wouldn't get killed not that he would do it in front of grandmother

'I should actually look for something now...' I walked around a bit to see if anything grabbed my attention but than again... being in this room everything has my attention...

I was walking around until something peculiar caught my eye.

It was a ore that shone a bright sliver and gold while to the outside eye it looked like a somewhat normal piece of ore but I could feel the magical energy coming from it.

"Did that one catch your attention?" Grandmother asked from behind me 

"That ore was given to me by a fairy though I never knew what to do with it I felt high amounts of mana coming from it so I kept it in case I needed it." Gilgamesh explained to us all and it was at that moment I knew I wanted it.

"Grandma! Can I ask you something!"

"Sure you can" Ninsun replied back with a warm smile

"Can you take this ore and forge it into a sword that I want?" My request seemed to have shocked them all

"Athanasia why not just use a sword from here?" Enkidu asked a little worried for some reason

"Because they're all daddy's stuff! And I don't want something that daddy can just take and replace! So I want my very own sword something that he doesn't have." Gilgamesh red eyes seemed to have widen even more as he processed my words

"-Pffttt! Hahaha!!" Suddenly he broke out laughing as he walked towards me

"It looks like you get that trait from me..." eventually his laughter died down as he picked me up and the stone too before tossing it to Ninsun

"Mother you can consider your granddaughter wish can you not? And seeing how that iron was given from a fairy I don't not see how they cannot fashion it to a presentable sword." His cocky smile never leaving his face while on leaving his poor mother stupefied before quickly regaining her composure.

"Well since when did you think you can order your mother around? But since this is for my precious grandchild I suppose I can see what I can do, this will be like an late birthday gift." She smiled at the end before facing me fully

"Alright little one you be good while I'll see what I can do about your okay?" Ninsun Cupped my cheek as she planted a soft kiss on my forehead(also completely ignoring Gilgamesh)

"Alright, Bye bye~" I waved at her but Than Gilgamesh placed his hand over my eyes before when he moved than she was gone.

"Eh? Where did she go daddy?"

"You'll get use to that as you get older." He simply replied and than...

*rumble*

"It seems like someone is hungry." The green haired male teased a little

"I'm hungry daddy"

"Now that you mention it... we never did get to eat lunch because of mother..." Gilgamesh frown deepened after realizing that and a portal opened to the outside and quickly Gilgamesh and Enkidu both walked out with me in the blonde man arms.

'Gahhh- I'm hungry~'
