The sun was shining.

Karan asked Faizi what’s their current location.

Faizi: “We have nearly reached the toll booth."

"Ah." Karan took off his sleep mask, sat up and looked at Monami, "tumhari toll booth par briefing sune ki wish phir se puri ho gayi.”

Monami remembered the last investigation. He refused to brief the police over the phone.

“The curse of the tolling booth......" She mumbled.

Karan started:

"Pichle 6 mahine se Shagun drug addiction ke control me thi.

Uski diary me mention tha 'galat kadam'. It’s probably something to do with sex or drugs, or both. Usne kaha tha ki woh 'kismat ko nahi hara payi. Toh ho skta h kisi k pass uske baare me aisi sensitive information ho jo woh public nahi hone Dena chahti ho.
I suspect it’s nude photos or sex videos. 

Jo usse control kr sake woh person inn teeno me se koi ho skta hain- Niharika, Kushal or Abhijit. Manager Ghosh nahi ho skti kyonki usne hr koshish ki ki Shagun ka transfer ho ya woh dismiss ho jae. Agar usse aisa chuhe billi ka khel khelna hota toh she wouldn’t try to push her away.
It wouldn't make sense then.

Yeh Pranab bhi nahi ho skta hain. Woh kisi k sath relationship develop krne me koi interest nahi hain. Besides he devotes all his time to his son. There’s no time for him to train up a sex slave.  

All the staffs from Customer 3 division are very well paid. So this person’s dominance is not about money, but purely to satisfy his/her desires. This person is experienced when it comes to taking drugs and fooling around.  Niharika, Kushal and Abhijit all meet these criterias. Although Abhijit is a homosexual, we cannot rule out the possibility of him being a bisexual, so he is still one of the suspects.” 

Monami was quiet. Under the guise of these well dressed and professional looking colleagues are souls that are dark and ugly. To use such dirty tactics on a young woman. It’s hideous. No wonder Karan warned her not to have any physical contact with them.

Karan continued:

“Manager Ghosh pta tha kya ho raha hain but woh chup rahi. Shagun ki diary me mention tha ki achanak se sab galat hone laga. Who else has the power to incite the crowd against her within the division? Par, Manager Ghosh ka Shagun se itni nafrat Krna.. she might have done something to offend Manager Ghosh. Perhaps Shagun  accidentally came across her misdemeanour (for example, accounting fraud). So Manager Ghosh is very eager to get rid of her..."

Monami interrupted.. "But diary k according, aisa nahi lagta ki Shagun kuch aisa janti hain. We should check it out. And motive.. aise motive kya hoga murderer ka?"

Karan smiled.. "Impressive.. Right.. isliye I will get the private detective to check out her financial status and private life. 

Aur haan the most important element in any murder is motive. Shagun uss person ke control se free hona chahti thi. Aur iss baat ne killer ko gussa dila Diya. Katl ki raat barish hui thi.. toh for sure as resort courtyard style me tha toh the murderer must have returned to the room with muddy shoes or wet clothes. Aur sath hi 2 hrs bahut jyada time hain room dur rehne ka. And notice aane ka.. Yet, no one admitted they ever leave their rooms. Therefore, the roommate must be covering up for him/her, making that person an accomplice."
