Aleksander Levkin is a dead man walking.

I just got off the phone with Ivan. He's been keeping an eye out on him while I'm away.

Since I've visited him, my brother has been exposing me to my men. Showing them a photo he somehow got of me and manipulating and threatening them to find me. He's making up bullshit to turn my men against me and according to Ivan, it's working.

I just don't understand why he's doing this.

We've known each other our whole lives and now he betrays me and for what?

Even if I did know why, I don't think I would care. At the end of the day he betrayed me and that is something I just can't forgive.

Growing up, he was the only person I had. My mother died and my father was abusive.

Aleksander was all I had but I wasn't all he had.

Our father treated him how a father should treat his children. He gave his son whatever he wanted no matter what it was. Me on the other hand, got a series of beatings on a weekly basis.

I never understood why. Maybe it was because I was the oldest? Maybe it was because I was a girl? Maybe it was because he needed to toughen me up for leadership?

I'll never know now. And I'm okay with that. I don't want to know if I'm completely honest. I just know any answer my father would have given me would upset me even more because no reason would have justified how he treated me as a child.

I think my father spoiling Aleksander definitely contributed to why he has stabbed me in the back.

After getting whatever he wanted his whole life, why wouldn't he take over when the opportunity presented itself?

What he didn't account for though, was the fact that his sister didn't grow up with the privilege he had. She worked her goddamn ass off for what she has.

And she isn't about to let it slip away that easily.

It's then that I have an idea. Why not kill two birds with one stone?

I open the door to my bedroom and make my way to Enzo's office. I knock on the office door and wait for his response before walking in.

He is sitting behind his desk doing paperwork.

That's one thing I definitely do not miss doing. Paperwork.

It's been a few days now since the dinner party. I haven't seen Enzo much, mainly because I knew that his parting words were true and I didn't want to give in to him.
