Lu Wanwan and Lin Xu arranged a time and a place to meet.

Before she left the house, Lu Wanwan's mother even asked very strangely, "Where are you going?"

Lu Wanwan said evasively, "I'm going to meet a friend, it won't take long."

There was no need to extend her stay during the first day of the New Year, thus Lu Wanwan's mother didn't make things difficult for her, she didn't ask anything more, she just waved her hand and told her to go.

Lu Wanwan changed into her new high heels. Suddenly, she turned around and asked, "Mom, when did Shen Yi leave?"

"Around seven o'clock in the morning, after he came back with the breakfast he bought, he went out again, it looked like he was busy with something."

She didn't ask either, she wasn't really concerned about where this son-in-law was going.

Lu Wanwan nodded, "Okay, I got it."

Lu Wanwan originally intended to drive Lu Zhouzhi's new sport car, but after thinking about it, she thought it better to take a taxi.

Many stores on the streets weren't opened yet, but the largest mall in the middle of the city was still opened for business as usual.

Lu Wanwan dressed herself up beautifully and arrived at the meeting place an hour early on purpose.

During that time her phone never stopped ringing with New Year greetings, it was Lu Zhouzhi's little girlfriend who texted her, wishing her a happy new year.

Her senseless little brother was still in high school this year. All year round, he was causing trouble at school, moreover, he was good-looking and was liked by many girls.

Lu Wanwan once met once Lu Zhouzhi's little girlfriend, she was a very fair and very thin young girl. She happened to hear that her family didn't seem to be well-off and thus was often being bullied by people.

Lu Wanwan replied with blessings for the New Year and sent her a red envelope with an appropriate amount of money, not too much and not too little.

About half an hour later, Lin Xu called her to say that he had arrived. Lu Wanwan looked around the entrance of the mall for a short while before seeing the man walking towards her direction.

Lin Xu was dressed very well and he seemed to have specially groomed his hair. When he smiled, he gave the feeling of still being a teenager, as if he was still experiencing first love.

He smiled at Lu Wanwan, "Have you been waiting for a long time?"

"Not really."

"Let's go sit down in a coffee shop to have a talk, okay?"

Lu Wanwan clutched the strap of her bag, pretending to be nervous, she timidly nodded her head. She looked like a delicate little white flower, swinging against the wind, "Okay."

As the two people were walking towards the entrance of the mall, suddenly, a gentle and elegant voice resounded, coming from Lu Wanwan's side, the man asked, "Lady, sorry to disturb you, would you happen to know where's the underground parking ?"

As she raised her eyes, Lu Wanwan saw the man standing in front of her. He was dressed formally, his skin was very fair, his demeanor elegant, but he emitted an inherent oppressive aura.

She pointed out the direction and replied, "Once you're past that passageway on the right, you just have to go straight down and you'll find the place."

The man's eyes swept over Lin Xu at her side before withdrawing his gaze and smiling at her, "Thank you."
