{ the first day of the new year }
i woke up to realize that i had fallen asleep in a bean bag chair. for a bean bag chair it was pretty comfy. there was a blanket draped over my arms. where did this come from? what room am i in? i looked up to see ricky asleep in a bean bag chair across from the one i was in.
OH RIGHT I'M IN HIS ROOM. why do i not remember why i'm here. stupid short-term memory loss. i pounded my head lightly with my hand. oh yeah we kissed. wait- WE KISSED?!
it wasn't just a dream right? or a part of my fantasies? i was really tired when it happened so i honestly don't remember the exact details. in the moment it all made sense but the aftermath didn't. why did i not remember at first? it's not like i was drunk or anything. can i kiss him again? nah, he's asleep. did he give me the blanket? well there's no one else around us. last night everyone else fell asleep way before we did.
my eyes searched around his room in hopes of finding a clock. it's 6:00 am?? damn, that's only five hours of sleep. ricky was still in a deep sleep and i decided to not wake him up. neither of us got much sleep last night. my phone laid on the floor face up. shoot it didn't get charged last night. to my surprise the screen flashed on to reveal notifications from our group chat.
