You opened your eyes and the first thing you see is the blinding ass hospital lights "why tf is it so fucking bright, am i in heaven?" you thought to yourself
your eyes adjusted to the brightness and saw a police officer sitting beside you
"so, are you y/n I/n" he asked
you nodded
"Can you not talk?"
you shook your head
"Alright then," he sighed,"I'm deputy Riley, and I'm just going to ask you a few questions about what happened last night, alright? he then handed you a notebook and a pen so you could write
"do you have any idea who the killer could be? Any defining features, voice, face?"
"he was wearing a costume and a mask at kinda looked like a ghost, but I did hear his voice" you wrote
"so it's a he" deputy Riley stated, writing it down on a notepad
"how did you hear his voice?"
"he called us" you wrote
"what exactly did he say to you," he interrogated.
"he asked to talk, and asked some questions, then he threatened to gut us if we hung up. We did because we thought it was a joke" you explained
"then what happened?"
"He told u to turn on the patio light, when i turned it on i saw Steve tied up to a chair. He then told us to turn off the light, and asked Casey some horror trivia, she got a question wrong. He then told to turn on the patio lights again, and we saw steve was gutted"
he wrote it down in his notepad again
"did anything happened next?" he asked
"He asked his last question. What door am I at?"
Casey didn't want to answer, so he broke in through the back door. I got hit in the head so I don't remember what happened next" you wrote
"Okay. thank you that's all I needed" the deputy stated
"we'll be in touch if any new evidence comes out, thank you again"
he began to stand up and collect his things. He was about to leave, but turned to face you one last time.
"you know, my sister goes to your school. I can ask her to keep an eye out for you if you'd like" he told you.
"no it's probably fine"you replied 'I have another friend at school"
"well if you say so, be sure to stay safe alright?"
He then asked you if you wanted to go home now or rest here for a while, you said you wanted to rest for the meantime
"do you know what happened to casey?" you wrote down
Dewey went silent for a second
"unfortunately she didn't survive, they found her hung up to a tree..." he dad said
you didn't know how to process that. She was your first friend, she even introduced you to her other friends. She was such a good person why would someone even kill her?
you started feeling wetness in your eyes, you started sobbing, you couldn't believe that she and steve died, you wish you were dreaming rn but this is very much true. They actually died and your the only one that survived
