Carlos sat in the backseat of the car with Cesar and another Santo.

"You want me to do it? You taking too long." Carlos asked his brother as he sat up.

"No, Spooky says this something he gotta do on his own." Martin told him. Carlos kissed his teeth and slouched back in his seat, staring at Raquelle's messages. He realized quickly that she had actually blocked him but he wasn't in the mood to jump through hoops just to talk to her.

He peeped that neither one of them were looking and sneakily slid the gun off the middle console, pretending to hit his head.

"Sit yo dumbass back." Martin told him, laughing a little.

Carlos slid the gun into his hoodie pocket. "Shut up, foo. I gotta piss. I'll be back."

Getting out the car, he walked to the bathroom of the park. There he found Latrelle, standing at the urinal, zipping up his pants.

Just as he turned around, Carlos raised the gun to his head.

This was nothing new to him as he'd been in shootouts, drive-by's, etc. "Aye, chill man." He held his hands up in surrender.

Carlos turned off all his emotions so he didn't really care for the scared look that covered Latrelle's face.

"Please man, please!" He begged.

Carlos sighed. "Look, you know why I'm here. You shoulda just pulled the trigger if you was gon' be begging like this." He chuckled before shooting near his foot.

"No, no, no—"

Latrelle choked on his words as a bullet went through his neck. He fell to the ground, holding his wound.

"Bitch." Carlos mumbled before pulled his hoodie over his head and walking out. He jogged back to the car and slid into the backseat.

"Go, fool. Drive!" He told Martin who immediately sped off. He threw the gun on the floor before taking the gloves off his hands.

"What did you do?" Cesar asked him. His younger twin gave him an are you serious right now look as he tilted his head.

"Don't ask me stupid questions right now. You know what I did. Now when Oscar asks, you did it. Not me." Carlos told him.

They sat in silence for the rest of the ride back to the house. When they pulled up, Òscar stood on the porch waiting for them.
