"We should be there by sundown, unless you could teleport us?" I asked,

"We'll have to walk, I definitely should've mentioned this, but I don't have any powerful magic, it's why I need the relic." Shizyle said looking away as she started walking,

That's... Disappointing. I thought, "Oh okay. Let's get walking I guess..." I trailed off, trying not to show how bothered I was. When sundown hit we were about 3/4 the way there and I heard Shizyle giggle a little, "What?" I asked exasperated, we only stopped to sit when lunch came around and that was only for 10 minutes. I was exhausted,

"Well you said we should be in the forest by sundown and well look." She gestured her hand out,

"Well I said we should be there by sundown, not guaranteed." I said annoyed,

"Don't get all language-y with me, this isn't my first language anyways." Shizyle said crossing her arms, I sighed and tried to change the topic,

"There's a decent camping area up there from the looks of it." I pointed in the direction I was talking about, it'd probably be dark by the time we got there but it was fine. By the time it was dark we were almost there, but not quite and I could barely see. I saw some light in the corner of my eye and turned my head to see Shizyle with a ball of light I assumed summoned, great a light source! We walked a little further when something crashed into Shizyle, or rather where the light was which Shizyle happened to be holding.

The light flew into my hands when Shizyle hit the floor, I tried to shift the light and I could see 2 figures profusely apologize to Shizyle as the one who actually crash landed into her helped her up. When I shifted the light it caught the first figure's attention and she bolted straight to me and just stared at the light. The other figure was trying to stop the other from going fast,

"Sorry about her, she's a moth so you know... Light and all?" The second figure said looking at Shizyle. She nodded and rubbing her left arm.

"No worries..." She said mildly in pain, "anyways who are you guys?" She asked,

"Oh I'm Omisha! And this is Aro!" The moth girl exclaimed, "he's running from something, that's why we are out here!" She said happily pointing at Aro.

"Omisha!" Aro yelled, I honestly don't blame him for yelling,

"Sorry... Overexcited you know?" She said quietly. Aro placed a hand on Omisha's poofy hair and sighed,

"It's fine I guess." He said rubbing his nose with his free hand. "Anyways who are you all, what are you guys doing out here?" Aro asked, we told them our story, leaving out the relic bit and they took some pity on us, "Well you can stay with us." Aro said. As I was setting up tents Aro came over to help me and he wasn't grasping the techniques quickly,

"Do you need help?" I asked,

"No just..." He tried to shove some poles together but jabbed his hands instead, "haven't done this in a few years."

"I also haven't done this since I was..." I think for a moment, "16, I'm 20 now and my tent is okay." I mentioned,

"Well your memory is probably better than mine." Aro said angrily.

"I've also been doing this since I was like 4 or 5 please let me help you." I pleaded, "I'll even teach you!" I added, Aro nodded reluctantly and moved over and I walked him through how to build a tent.

"I could've done it by myself." Aro gritted his teeth,

What's HIS problem? I thought to myself, "Your welcome I taught you a valuable life skill." I said exasperated. I walked away to the camp fire and I started cooking some food, just some random food that tastes okay slow cooked, "dinner is ready." I said, I took the pan off the fire and passed some to everyone, everyone had nothing but good things to say,

"Mhm this is good!" Omisha commented,

"Thank you!" I said smiling,

"How are you so good at camping?" Shizyle asked, I recalled one of the times my parents took me camping when I was maybe 14, and all the things my parents taught me,

"So I'm assuming you teleported there because it was early morning when we left and well..." Shizyle gestured her hands outwards to show the rest of the way to the forest.

"Well I think we did, I don't remember that part much..." I trailed off, just then, scratch popped their head out of my shirt pocket and flew up to the campfire just to stare at it,

"Aw who's this little guy?" Omisha asked,

"Oh that's scratch, their a little shy around strangers so they might only pop out during night just to watch the fire for a while." I mentioned, everyone decided to just leave it at that, thankfully.

"Thanks for setting up the tents Raven!" Omisha called crawling into her tent,

"You're welcome!" I responded climbing into my and Aro's shared tent, we wanted to stay away from each other since we were still mildly annoyed at each other, but we assumed the girls wouldn't be thrilled about sleeping with a guy, (rightfully so), so we put up with each other, "Hey mind looking away? I need to change into my pajamas." I asked, Aro nodded and proceeded to cover his eyes with his wings and turn around.

"Hey sorry about being a little rude back there..." I heard Aro mumble, I nugged scratch out of my shirt pocket so they wouldn't get hurt when I took it off.

"If you don't mind, why were you so reluctant for help?" I asked, pulling on some comfy shorts,

"I'm just... not used to needing help..." Aro said quietly,

"Oh okay, well it's fine I guess." I said, "by the way do you have a light source? I can't find my T-shirt that I wear to sleep." I asked,

"I can cast a fire spell, y'know because I'm a dragon, but I don't think that's safe in a tent." Aro mentioned,

"Are you able to cast the fire small?" I asked, Aro gave me a demonstration to where the fire was small and manageable, "okay move that towards me I just need to see a tiny bit." I asked, Aro crawled over and moved the fire around, this got scratches attention and they shape shifted from a small stuffed animal to their normal form,

"They can shape shift?" Aro asked, I nodded and said we can discuss it in the morning, then I realized his eyes were uncovered, I felt a little uncomfortable, but it only my shirt that wasn't on so I pretended I didn't care, "Is this the T-shirt?" Aro asked looking at me and holding the T-shirt,

"Oh yes!" I exclaimed taking it from him. "Thanks Aro!" I exclaimed, he shrugged and said it wasn't a problem. I pulled the T-shirt over my head, it was a few sizes too big, but that's why it's comfy. scratch shape shifted back into the small stuffed animal and I fell asleep holding it. Tomorrow we venture through the forest.
