Sometimes when they have nightmares they use their own teleporting powers in their sleep to travel somewhere random with no control over the destination.
Ex.
Will was up super early because a newer camper tripped on a rock and fell on to the table that was holding weapons. Nico is used to cuddling Will in his sleep. So when Nico was half asleep and half awake he was cuddling someone. Thinking it was Will he kissed the top of their head. Only to find out it was Percy. They both freaked out confused until they figured out that Percy Vapor traveled in his sleep because of a nightmare.
