Aryan Rawat's POV (Aayush's Dad)

I was thinking about life, and how it has always been, I have always been selfish, and I still remember that night when I saw the death of the people because of whom I lost my son.

(knock at the door) "Come in," I said

"Helloo my dear friend" The one who knocked at the door greeted me with a high-pitch

"Rakesh!! How come you are here? Surprise!"

"Can't I come to see my friend? Huh?"

"Of course you can" I replied back and laughed

"Have you seen the news?"

"What News?"

"About you son!"

"Oh, that Yes... yes, I talked to him about that, and he said he's serious this time"

"Aryan!"

I didn't understand, why was he giving me reactions like that, he was confusing me.

"Huh!?"

"How are you so calm?"

"What do you mean... I am..tell me..tell me clearly"

"I assume that you haven't seen the picture"

"What Picture?"

He huffed and replied, by showing me a picture, in which my son was kissing a girl, I focused on the girl more, I recognized her as soon as I saw focused, those hazel brown eyes were the same, and that mole on her upper lips, this was her....

"Anika Shankar!" I gasped

"Yes" Rakesh replied

"HOW IS SHE ALIVE!?"

"Calm down, I... I'm sorry for hiding

I cut him in the middle of the sentence and shouted again

"YOU LIED TO ME!"

"Look. I have already said sorry, let me explain"

"You better make sense"

My eyes were all red till now, I still remember that

FLASHBACK,
[back when Anika was 5 and Aryan's son or Aayush's younger brother was 6]

"Umcle..uncle, please return my ball" A little 5-year-old girl shouted a loud voice as much as she could, chasing a ball that a big man took

The man smiled and bent down at the girl's level, "you're so cute, hope you always stay blessed, happy, and safe" the man said tickling her cheeks and then gave her the ball, when he left the little girl saw a boy, whose height was a little tall than her, it was approximately same.
