the lack of communication
especially the absence of affection
it seems like a sin to have emotions with them
so i refused to be your hostage
i don't want to be locked up with
that kind of mindset where i was always
put to blame for everything they did
and for everything they wished to do
but was too ashamed to even admit
they were both scared and envious
for this generation speaks up so well
