all my life, I was taught that love
has to be tough to know if it's really true
that love should be measured
that love should be well treasured
I was fooled, the younger me believes
that love is supposed to be suffocating
that love is fine to love bombing
until I grow up, I'm not quite sure
if I was really worth knowing
what was real love means
that if it's really worth it to know
how to be loved the way they perceive it
