I take a deep breath and slides ring in her fingers the fact.
she refused an engagement ring and asked me to wear the promise ring because she liked it a lot and said this is a memory of our true love the first stage and whenever in the future something happens.
she wants to remember this phase after lots of turns and twisted finally we are getting engaged
She slided ring inside mine and everybody clapped cheered hotted different different background noises but my focus was only on her
The only sound I was listening to was her giggles. Her sweet melodious giggles.The only sight which matters to me was the shine and happiness in her eyes

Slowly slowly everyone started congratulating us then my eyes fall on her.... My mom
She came towards her
" Congratulations " She said.. My eyes started getting glossy. I heard her voice after so many years
She looked at me
" Beta, why your eyes are moist? Happy tears " She laughed teasing me and suddenly a sob escaped my mouth
She panicked a little
" Aarav? " Reva called me softly then looked at my mom. Her eyes widened maybe Rohan must have told her
Rohan came forward and started rubbing my back . Cade, locke , Alisha and catie came too
Nobody recognized her as dad destroyed her every picture even from laptop and phone too
" He is Aarav " Rohan said and she nodded with kind of nervous yet confuse expression
" Aarav oberoi, from USA " Rohan said and instantly looked at me. Her eyes became moist tears started flowing out
" My Aarav? " She whisper slowly and touched my cheeks
" Why mom " I asked in whisper and puts her hand away softly. No matter how much I love her but I need answer too. Why did she leave me?
She take her hand back and cupped her mouth
" Do you think your mom can leave you? " She asked me
" Then why did you? " I asked in whisper
" How he treats you? " Mom asked me instead of answering
" Very badly, he don't count me as his son. He says I am the son of the woman who cheated on him. He hates me " I answered honestly and something cracked inside me
How unlucky I am? Mom left, dad hates me, step brother is my rival, step sister whom I never considered as step betrayed me
" He is cruel " Mom said In anger . I can feel hate for dad
" Suhani, let's talk somewhere else " A man.. My mom's lover or should I say husband came and she nodded
Rohan gave us private room. Me, mom, that man and reva were inside
" Do you think I leave you? " Mom asked again and I didn't replied
" Your dad was cheating on me " Mom said and I look at her... It's not shock for me. Dad bring that woman home after 1 month only
" I came India after a huge fight with him. I gave him time to choose me or her...i said to him that your custody would be with me " Mom said and I was listening to this new found information
" I got into accident here and lost my memories " She said softly and I was shocked. She lost her memories
" After 2 years I got my memories back. I was married to sushant " She said pointing at her new husband.
" Your dad never tried to find me but I did. I did try to find you but moved to another city . I had no idea where you would be " Mom said and I nodded. Indeed we moved to another city
" Aarav, I... Before marriage I knew I could never be mother " She said . What's she implying?
" You are not my son.. You are ad... Adopted " She said and my whole World crashed. I am not her son? I am adopted?
" I am not the reason why he hates you but this is " She said and I felt hatred for her. So she just dropped such cruel sentence to prove that she is not at fault?
I stayed silent. My dad was never mind, my mom was never mine nobody ever was mine?
Where are my real parents? Why did they leave me? Why my life recently has been to cruel
I heard a sob and looked back. In all this I forget Reva was there tooo
She was cupping her mouth to control sobs. As she saw i was looking at her. She huggged me. My face was in her stomach and she was ruffling my hairs
" It's okkk, you can cry out " She said in her cracked voice and I couldn't control anymore
I started crying harder, sobbing
" No Need Mrs singh... Stay away from him please " I heard reva say.
Then I heard door opening and closing sound
" It's ok Rav, I am here " She said. I knew she is here and that's the only best thing I have
No doubt god gave me so many wounds but he provided me cure of those wounds
" Rav, please stop crying " She said softly and I wiped my tears
It's big day for us and why am I crying for those who were never mine
" Let's go outside " I said wiping her tears
" You are not upset right? " She asked me . Her tone sounds like a kid
I chuckled.
" Of course not love " I said and kissed her forehead
" Let's begin our new journey this time...not even a single thing is lie.. I love ms Reva mehra and she is my special woman " I said teasing her and she blushed a little
" Let's go " I said forwarding my hand and grab it. Both of us made our way outside
Guest were eating at garden where it was planned. We spotted my friends and reva's family on dinning
" Come here, sit besides me " Reva's said dad said and I sit besides him. I was nervous
" Look at my son in law how handsome? I am lucky..i can compare my son in law and daughter in law to moon " Her dad said and all of us chuckled. He is chill
" What about your own kids? " Rohan asked raising his eye brow
" Sahab jaade firse bannan yeh wala muh " His father glared at him and he sheepily smiled
" What about me dad " Reva asked blinking her eyes trust me she is looking most innocent girl to be present on earth right now
" You are my doll, you are more preittier than moon " Her dad said and we were in awww
" Aarav, next week let's go to play golf? It would be fun. We will win against everyone " Uncle said and i felt warm the words which I should hear from dad. I am listening from my father in law
" Aarav we are done eating and our Reva is such a foodie you can guess she is already full. You are not so no drama. You have eat " Sunaina said and started serving me
" Don't worry princess.. I will see how he says no to my wife " Rohan said and sunaina smiled
" You can't say no to my wife but surely to your bhabhi " Rohan said said laughed. I too laughed with him
" I am incharge of kitchen in house so careful with your words Mr " Sunaina said and I make fake scared face. She ruffled my hairs
