My connection with Jake just kept getting better day by day. He really opened up and changed a lot since his Cliffordale days. Settling into his penthouse and reconnecting with his relatives seemed to bring out a new side of him.
And about the project?! well, we kind of bombed it. Got a D, but hey, we passed thanks to our solid scores on the earlier tests and reports. We left that project hanging halfway and just forgot about it. Didn't bother to finish it even when we had the time.
As for the spirit stuff, we never really checked back with the pastors to see if they banished it for good. Last we heard, they were planning to toss it into the enclosed furnace. But hey, no news is good news, right? If they didn't reach out to us, maybe everything's fine now...
