Being me is so hard. No one seems to understand well.
Its been a month. Nothing special. Jack and I have become best friends. I haven't seen Kara, Veronica, or Darin.
I live almost everyday in fear. Wondering....Is today the day where it all ends?
Sirah knows she has cancer. Doctor said she has four months to live.
I talk to her once in a while. Eleanor, said her first word. Eleanor is six months old I think, or something like that. No one Ever really talks to her. Not even me.
Her first word was Nope.
It was cute, I was getting her dressed and when I picked out a pink shirt she shook her head and said Nope.
Eleanor was sleeping and I was about to go to sleep too. Until I almost forgot to call Jack.
I was about to grab the phone but Sonny walked in. "We need to talk..."
I nodded, "Uh, Yea sure..."
He said down next to me, "its not something bad...okay?"
"Yea...I got it."
"Im...with someone..."
"Meaning...?"
"I have a girlfriend."
"Oh? For how long..?"
"Three Weeks, we met when you ran away, when we Got into an argument....and I've been calling her since..."
"Uh... okay, What's her name?"
"Christina, I call her Chrissy.... "
"How old is she?"
"Eighteen."
"She is actually coming over tomorrow, she looks a lot like you Ellie, she is so Beautiful....she's got pale skin, she has like...the same bone structure, she's got black hair..."
"Sonny. I don't have black hair. And your being weird.....bone structure...? Really..? "
He laughed, "no but really, is that okay?"
"Of course.... your the one that's older."
"Yea, I guess, well, Goodnight. Love you."

I picked up the phone and called Jack. "Hey."
"Ellie! I have to tell you something."
"Okay..."
"Veronica is dead."
"Kara's sister?"
"Yep."
"H-how...?"
"Kara. Everyone knows she did it. Its just that no one has proof. So the police can't do anything about it."
"Crap. She really is mental."
"Told you!"
"I have to go."
"Wha- why?"
"Im going to my old house."
"Ellie Wait-"
I hung up and put my jacket on. I went into Sonny's room. "Sonny.... "
"Yea?"
"Keep an eye on Eleanor, okay?"
"Where are you going?"
"Out..."
"Okay well come back soon."
"Okay."

I've been walking for twenty minutes. This better be worth it. I took out my cellphone when I was two minutes away.
I called Darin.
"Uh, Hello...?"
"Hey its Ellie.... im about two minutes away from my old house....can I meet up with you?"
He hung up.
I don't know if that meant no, or.... I don't know.
Then I saw Darin. Thank God.
I almost ran up to him. I was about to hug him but he rejected my hug and kissed me.
It was long. Like five seconds. He let go and looked at me. "I uh....I miss you."
"Yea, me too....you want to go on the roof...?"
"I kind of want to enjoy the moment." He hugged me again.
I honestly had no interest with a romance in my life. But I think he just got me interested.
"Ellie, What happened...?"
"Darin, I should be asking you, what happened?"
"Veronica died."
"How....do you know?"
"Someone killed her."
"Do you know who?"
"I think it was Kara..."
"Yea. Me too. We've got a lot to talk about."
I walked down the road talking about Kara until Darin interrupted me.
"Ellie... "
"Uh, yea?"
"I think I love you"
I stopped completely. Love...? Seriously...?
I turned around and faced him, "uh.... Yea, I think I do too."
