Part 11: The City Of Larkavik

Ryan, Moore and Jacob climbed down Jill's tree arms and i flew down. Jill came down after. We were at the base of the building and looked back up at it. The building was big. We heard a noise in the sky. We all turned around to see a giant space ship come into the docking platform. "Wonder why thats here, maybe its more prisoners to replace the ones that escaped". Said Jill. "Or its a shipment of more guards for Captin Marvin. I said. We need to get a move on it, we're about 2 miles out side the city, i say we'll get there about dusk, then maybe we can find someone who can keep us covered". I said. We started walking down a long road to the city of Larkavik. We all knew it was going to be a long walk, i pulled out Hexa and my Peloquin. We decided to all ride the beast. We didnt want to use our powers to make us not look suspicious cause we knew Captin Marvin and his new shipment of guards would be coming to the city to look for us. Also Ryan, Moore and Jacob didnt ever have powers they told me they probably would have gotten them in the next couple of days, they rode my Peloquin cause they were tired from fighting and walking for a mile or so and i couldn't walk, i would slow everyone down. Jill walked behind us eating blueberries and other fruits. By the time we got to the edge of Larkavik city it was dusk. The sun was glowing red and orange, it was so warm out, probably cause we were in a desert climate. I put away my Peloquin and put it in its slot in my back pocket. We all walked into town and started going to people to see if they would let us stay the night. We finnaly found a person who would let us stay, after convincing him. His name was Sardonic. He told us that he was from the prison and escapee like us. He then liked the city of Larkavik and made himself a blacksmith. The blacksmiths name is Crescent Sun Blacksmith. A lot of people buy from him, mostly gangs and the Larkavik gang lord, Captin Marvin. I never knew that Marvin was the top gang lord. "Thank you so much Sardonic for letting us stay here". "Oh you dont have to thank me, im just helping out prisoners not get abused any longer". This is what Sardonics blacksmith looks like. This is only part of it though.

"Do you guys need anything else besides blankets and pillows". "Well we need help finding another serum like this one". I pulled out the omega serum and handed it to him. "So they finally crafted the serum, well one of them anyway". "No actually, i brought this from home, my dad. Was a scientist at Arbor City labs and i saw him craft it one day he brought me took work, so its mine actually". "Well, I've heard rumors about were the alpha serum is, but the most common one I've heard of where it is, is at Larkavik Science Research Facility 20 miles away from here". Sardonic said. "Do you think we can get there by tommorow ya think". Asked Jacob. "Why is it so far away, like how do the workers get home, thats like 5 days of walking in the barren desert wasteland". Ryan said. "There's a small town called Halre just 4 miles away. Sardonic said to us. If you want to get there fast you'll have to fly there or drive there, you'll die out in the desert from wild creatures or the heat if you walk". "Well i have animals and i can fly". We talked about a plan and some other things like the city and what its like for hour. We all finally went to sleep.

The next morning i woke up to the sunlight shinning in a window. I could here people talking outside the half room shielded by curtains. I pushed the curtain out of the way to see Ryan and Moore talking. "Oh hey, how was your sleep Gray". Asked Ryan. "It was fine, how about yours". I asked them rubbing my eyes. "I slept great actually, despite the fact we were all sleeping on matts and blankets". Replied Moore sarcastically. "Lets wait for Jacob to get up and then we can ask Sardonic were we can go for breakfast". Moore said. "Yea, im getting a little bit hungry since we all didnt eat yesterday". Ryan replied. "By the way where's Jill, did she get up". I asked both of them. "I haven't seen Jill, i didnt even know if she got up". Replied Moore. just as Moore finished Jill walked in. "Good morning guys, want breakfast". Jill came in the wooden door with pancakes, waffles, chocolate chips on top, whip cream and other yummy, yummy stuff along with it. "Oh my god, are you kidding me right now, this looks delicious Jill, where'd you get it". Asked asked Ryan as he walked over to a small table in the back room with a plate of waffles. "Lets just say i ordered take out from a diner, and yes they actually have real human food here". Jill said setting down 5 other plates she had carried with her vine arms. We sat down and started eating just as Jacob and Sardonic came and sat down to eat. Breakfast was really good and really woke me up. I got my stuff on and was ready for today. "So are we gonna explore the city or go for what we need to get out of here". I asked everyone. "I say we go explore the city to find out more about the place, get some stuff at the local market and maybe get more info on the whereabouts of this alpha serum". Jill said. "I think we should go to the facility to find the serum". I said opposing. Lets take a vote of where you want to go. Sardonic said to us. All who want to stay and explore the city raise your hand. Jill, Ryan, Moore, and Jacob all raised their hands. All who want to go get the serum that could be not there raise your hand". I raised my hand. "Its 4-1 Gray, we dont even know if the serum is there, and its also a long treak and its dangous". Moore pointed out. "I'm not going to argue with this, i guess your right on the fact that we can explore the city, but Captin Marvin will be looking for us so we have to be careful". I said. We went out to the city. It was big, there were tall buildings, next to shops and restaurants. We were walking down one of the long streets when a bill board announced something on it. -hello citizens of Larkavik, im Captin Marvin and we have a important matter at hand. We have had a breach at my building and some people have escaped, this is what they look like. It showed a picture of us. If you see them report it to local police-. The video cut out and ended. We looked at each other and then looked around frantically making sure no police saw us. "Hey, you over there, put your hands up"! A cop said yelling at us across the street pulling his gun out and running at us. "Run"! I said. We all started running down the street. The cop called for back up. We turned down an alley and went through to another street. A cop car came speeding around the corner. We slammed our brakes and started running back to the alley. The original cop was there. We ran straight. We cut into another alley and there was an ladder there, we all ran up it. We got to the top of the building and were on the roof. We saw a helicopter comeing for us. I flew up into the sky and went straight toward the helicopter. I smashed through the glass and took out the pilot. I found myself face to face with his co-pilot. I punched him in the face and he was knocked out. I didnt know how to fly a helicopter so i tryed flying it down. I jumped out of it right before hitting the street. There was a big explosion. I flew back up to the roof where my friends were. "Well, thats one way to get yourself dead". Jacob said. We started jumping across buildings. We stopped at one point cause we almost jumped across an alley way that had the hole Larkavik police department waiting in the alley. We backed up. "Where do we go now Gray, we cant go down". Moore said. "I dont know what were going to do guys, let me think for a minute". I started thinking when someone showed up on the roof. "Um gray we got company". I looked up and saw what looked like dead pool but had a death stroke mask on. He looked about the same age as me. But he wall about half a head taller than me. "I got you fam". The stranger said. He took out a gernade and twirled it thorough his legs like a basket ball then pulled the pin and threw it like a basket ball off the roof. "Just with the flick of the wrist". Boom!!!!! I heard a big explosion. "For the team, 3 pointer". He said walking towards us. "And who are you". Ryan asked. He took off hi mask and said, "im Trigger". The second i saw his face and heard the name i hugged him. "What the hell, i saw you die, how'd you survive"! I asked amazed what i was seeing. "I dont really know, i just remember waking up in a room strapped down, then getting blasted with something, then i killed everyone in the room, i tried finding you but more guards arrived and i had to escape. Ive been living in the city for the past 2 and 1/2 years, I've tried getting back to save you but i couldn't and also the police were after me so i had to keep running. I'm sorry i couldn't make it back but when i saw you and your friends up on a sign, i knew you were in trouble, and then i saw you guys come up here so i followed you guys". Terk explained. "But lets get off this building and get back to my base". He explained and we all left. We got to his base and it was a tall futuristic white building. "Is this yours Terk"? Jacob asked. "Yea, why". Terk said back. "Its just big thats all". Jacob said back to Terk. We all walked inside and took a tour of the place. "Hey Gray can i borrow you for a sec alone please, i just want to catch up".
