Joohyun stares at his sleepy tired face. He has fallen alseep after he memorized a material, agian.

She smiles, leaning her head against the table with her arms as the pillow. Her head is facing him.

"Thank you so much, Jimin." She mumbles, playing with his hair.

"I'm so thankful that you came into my life," she smiles. "Because no one had ever care so much about me. Not even my parents."

Unknowingly, tears starts forming at the corner of her eyes.

She used to have a tough gloomy life. As she said, her parents don't care much about her, they're busy with works. Friends? She has a lot. But no one can be considered as a best friend. She had hard time when Hani's friends scolded her for snatching Hani away from them sometimes. They did it quite often, and she turns sad whenever they did. She never mean to take Hani away from them. She just wants to join them. She wants to have best friends too. But they don't understand.

Now that a spiritful cheerful guy named Jimin has come into her life, she finally turns brighter than before, just like him. She even cried in front of someone for the first time in her teenage life. And it feels so relaxing after she did. Like, all of your pain you've been feeling all this time, gone suddenly. And the good thing is, Jimin never seem to distance himself from her after he knew all of her sorrow.

And she loves him for that.

She wipes the tears off of her eyes, because it makes her vision blurry, so blurry that she doesn't notice that Jimin has opened his eyes.

"Ya, why are you crying?" He asks, worries.

"I'm not.." she denies, wiping the tears quickly with the back of her hands.

"Something happened?" He asks, holding her arms and pulls it away from covering her face.

"I just feel grateful," she sniffs. "that you are my friend."

He halts for a moment, before his lips forms into a smile, feeling touched.

"Aw, so you are crying because of that?" He ruffles her hair. "Don't overthink, dear. I'll always be your friend."

She smiles, but her cries are getting louder.
